Audible membership for 99p for 3 months instead of £7.99 a month.

99p gets you one free book a month which is great value!

DEF recommend the Alan Partridge book as he voices it!

Code to use on Audible website is VCLOUD99

Think there is £7 cashback from Quidco on this too!

Does cashback still apply if you use a voucher? If so this is an amazing deal (love a profit!) - voted hot anyway

John Bishop one is supposed to be good, but i went for girl with the dragon tattoo....

If you would still like to keep all your audiobooks on the same account - remember, you can GIFT books to yourself!

Great deal, I read bad things about Audible recently but the reassuring posts here have just about tempted me to take the plunge.

My god they're getting desperate. Audible are awful - and yes I have bought from them. I bought The Lost World and the audio quality, despite being from a BBC Audiobooks source material, was atrocious - I think it was about 48k which is abysmal - not least when you're paying about £8.99 for the thing. Tied to your particular player too, so you can't just drag and drop to a different player. I do know why they've done that, and choice is good, but I'd never go near them again after my experience.

It's a great service. I have about 50 books now and the app yo listen to them is great. The member deals are worth staying a member for!

I have had audible memberships for several years and have hundreds of audible books and the service has always been really good. You can download multiple formats to use with different devices and can load the library on to multiple laptops linked to your audible account. The audio books themselves can then be loaded on multiple iPods or other devices. The cheapest way to keep the membership going is to buy 12 books in advance.

Audible are great. I have at least 100 books from them. Their customer service is excellent in my experience.

brill, works if renewing monthly membership. heat.

It accepted the voucher at 99p but then changed to 7.99, maybe because i took an earlier trial? :-(

Accepted voucher for me said it charged 99p but hasn't given me my credit. I'll sort it out using the chat tomorrow, I have 4 audible books to listen to anyway. Great deal if it actually works

+1 for all the praise given to audible, even at full price it's a great deal as audio books are notoriously expensive and the ease with choosing and downloading the books cannot be matched. Quality has in my experience always been excellent.

Perhaps this will happen to me as I have used audible on a trial basis before too.

I've been using Audible for 6 months and it's a fab service. I stayed on for £7.99 per month and they send you deals for extra credits. Downloading to my phone is simple and listen to them in the car on my several long drives instead of the same music radio stations!

Got this error message at first, but strangely enough it worked a few minutes later.

just tried and i think the deal may be expired. gutted as i really wanted to get a few books

Worked for me just now. Been listening to a lot of audio books as I prepare for a marathon but have run out of things to listen to. Just need to work out how this works and how to cancel in three months.

It still works, just signed up. cheers

Just renewed my subscription with this, cheers op. The code still works.

Anyone know if you can access the US catalogue with a UK account similar to Netflix?

I originally had a us account and can still access my us library but on recent years I have used uk accounts

is there any book you want to buy that is only on the us account? everything I have been interested in has been on the uk list already. (in case you don't know, with audible you get a credit a month to buy a single audio book, that book is the yours even if you cancel your subscription, unlike netflix you don't get unlimited access to the catalog whilst subscribed)

Same here. Got the above message so clicked it a second time and it worked!

Tried yesterday, and got the sorry! Message, tried this morning and it worked!

This is strange, the account setup went through okay after first receiving the error message I mentioned above, I finally decided on a book (Wool - Hugh Howey) and on trying to check out my single credit has vanished and it now says Membership Status: Not Enrolled. Anyone know WTF is going on?

i just used this code, i got it on voucher cloud. It ends in 5 days time.

I used this when I saw it a month ago, just renewed my second month for £0.99 as expected.

Just want to say thanks to poster RCUK ! It's been quite useful. Been buying a series of books I like.

You need to give the Twilight Zone Radio Dramas a go!
