Really not sure how you are managing that - but every way I try it's free delivery

seem to be pretty much that price all over amazon

free for me too... im a registered amazon customer (ie. got an account already) do u think that makes a difference?

How are people getting it charging for delivery? The link takes me directly to amazon and the marketplace seller which clearly states 75p with free shipping to the right hand side, ive just gone through checkout, and it right up until im about to pay still says 75p delivered? Confused as to why you are getting it showing a delivery charge? x

is this really cheap though?

This is what it says :-

This item is from a seller other than Amazon.co.uk and is not eligible for free Super Saver Delivery.

Please note that this applies only to Amazon.co.uk's free Super Saver Delivery; some sellers offer separate free delivery options. If you qualified for another seller's free delivery option, this will be reflected in your order total.

cool ordered two and no problem with free delivery.

Cheers OP

Ordered one and got free delivery

ordered. thanks

On behalf of FACT I would like to point out that sharing music with your friends is a breach of copyright, punishable by a fine, exile or death, depending on what you're listening to.

ordered with free delivery thx

handy, cheers (_;)

Excellent. Does this result in a noticeable reduction in sound quality? (Irrespective, a top deal)

If it stops kids playing godawful techno through the crappy tinny speaker on their phone (usually while on public transport) then they should giving these out free at schools and the like .....

Just ordered a pair cheers op

It won't unfortunately. The children are doing it to annoy you, not to share it with their friends. At least the fashion is not for ghetto blasters at the moment.

It will depend on the phone and the headphones you're connecting. I'd say it won't make much difference.

Could I use this as a dual input? When I'm forced to scurry into the spare room to play on the 360 I shove it through a pair of PC speakers but I'd like to also have my mp3 player using them at the same time. I read something that one output might 'drive' the other, so the mp3 player would send power into the 360 cable or vice versa depending on which is stronger and this could be bad.

No need to explain that I can play music with the 360 - no fast forward or resume of a podcast = not happening.

It's not a good idea, no - you've got two relatively powerful headphone outputs which will indeed fight with each other, potentially causing damage (although in practice they will probably have protection against short circuit and overload). You would be advised to put resistors in series with them.

been this price for ages from one amazon seller or another

Cheers pibpob, I'm going to make something like this. I don't need anything more complex because I can change the mp3 player volume and use the speakers' volume control as the master.

You can get better, more compact, splitters than these without wires

I bought one like this off ebay for 99p

Certainly an alternative but not necessarily better, because you have a large lump sticking out of your mp3 player,

It's not that large

But it's larger than the plug on the one on this thread. As I said, it's a good alternative in some circumstances, but maybe not in others.

Might be a slightly larger plug, but it doesn't hang down as far as this one, so the total space taken up is actually less.

Anyhow, who cares, I prefer that one, you prefer this one. It's called choice.

As often happens on this forum, you are sorry you bothered submitting a post...

It is, and as you can see I welcome it. It's not "better" though.

In my opinion, it is better, that's why I bought it...
