Heard amazing things about these headphones and this is by far the cheapest I've seen for this model.

Not dealt with DV247 but reviews seem good.

Not quite. Digital Village went into administration a couple of years ago and were acquired by a German company in a 'prepack' move which is arguably illegal. Details here:

theeccentricblog.blogspot.co.uk/201…m=1

Ethically that is not a company I would want to deal with. It also means that, because many of the suppliers who were left high and dry refuse to deal with them, they source a lot of stock through their new parent company in Germany. So you'll often get European stock with (where applicable) European plugs and European warranty.

If I were you I'd simply ask a more reputable dealer to price match.

These are fantastic but for the price I think AKG K551s hold more bang for their buck. Personally I prefer the AKGs, and you can get them cheap now too!

Super headphones. I use them for studio monitoring as they are quite neutral sounding. However, mine took a while to "loosen up" so bear that in mind if they initially disappoint.

Nope still £90

I second AKG's.

Awesome set of headphones, highly recommend!

These are far from neutral sounding...

These are truly excellent headphones. The sound quality is better than my Audiotechnica AD700's, certainly punchier sounding. They are brilliant for late-night gaming or movie sessions as they don't leak much sound at all, plus the interchangeable cables are a nice feature.

I think I paid just over £100 for these about a year ago.

These are great headphones so hot at this price.
If they are too much or the cost goes back up over £100, have a look at the M40x, available from around£70. They are quite a bit cheaper, maybe the ear pads aren't as well padded but for me the sound quality difference between the 2 is minimal..

Brilliant set of headphones, just bought the blue limited edition ones last week for £127, these are a bargain

I don't know. I'm getting £93.99. Where are you getting it delivered?

Thank you.
I've been after these for a while, below the £100 mark and with 3 years Warranty it was impossible to say no.

If you were thinking of investing in them absolutely, but I think you will be OK buying a pair of cans

These were 89.99 a couple of days ago, wondered if/when it would get spotted...

Seen these at this price last Tuesday. I was initially looking at the M40X's but since it was a £30 difference I just went for these. Yet to be delivered though. Will keep you guys updated with how it goes (service wise).

Great headset at a good price. Not used this seller though.

have they been dispatched yet?

It's possible they will be coming from Germany. It shows 5+ stock. Please keep us posted on dispatch time. Thanks.

No where yet as that what it says when its added to the basket, the checkout page says Great Britain and NI, but the basic price still shows up as 109.88.

amazing headphones...... best I've had, apart from the sennheiser hd650.... But then again those cost 3 times as much, but with minimal differences

Ordered mine Friday evening, was dispatched this morning and UPS tracking says scheduled for delivery tomorrow. That was just standard delivery. Can also confirm they are coming from Germany. Can't see this being a problem, they are UK based and 3 years warranty is enough for me

Absolutely brilliant set of headphones. I bought a pair of Beats Solo 2 and returned the day after having listened to these. They're super comfortable, bass is crystal clear yet punchy. At this price, they're a steal!

Update: delivered this morning. Great service. The headphones sound amazing, I'm no expert but a massive step up from my Bose AE2's and AKG K451's.

Ordered Sunday evening and still not dispatched when I called dv247 they said there were so many orders they ran out of stock and would only be able to deliver my order in February. Just thought I'd share this for anyone still trying to order a pair of these.

I didn't receive a dispatch notice after 3 working days so I sent in an email to them. The next day (Monday) I got a dispatched email saying they had been shipped from Germany on the Friday and should be with me on Tuesday, so maybe the system messed up and didn't send the email out. UPS then emailed me on Tuesday saying there'd be a delay of one working day. I'm guessing it's busy for them. I received them yesterday (Wednesday), so DV247 are definitely worth using if there's huge savings to be had.

Regarding the headphones, they're good. I wouldn't say amazing though. I'm not blown away for some reason? I previously had some V Moda in-ear's which I was really surprised with when I got them. They're known to be slightly bass heavy and I didn't know it was possibly for in-ears to produce bass like that. Some people do say the M50X's don't have that much bass however I found it more than good enough, and that's coming from some particularly bass heavy in-ear's. I've only used them for around 2 hours so far so I'll see how it goes and whether I do find them any better.

Arrived today, not disappointed at all. Don't know why I didn't buy them sooner.
