Lowest price I have seen, just ordered a pair!

Can anyone give me some advice ? I was torn between the 30X and 40X ..and now the 50X ! I'll probably be listening to 256k MP3s most of the time so the 50X might be wasted on me - or worse still show up the imperfections in the source material. Also I want something light and comfortable and I expect the 50Xs are heavier. In fact based on comfort alone I was almost considering these hotukdeals.com/dea…534 Though quite a lot of people are very negative about how BOSE perform sound wise. Any thoughts ? Cheers !

try to find headphone info on this site.. headfi forum..

always best to try them on if you can..can be a expensive game.

Bought last night at £109. Arriving tomorrow. Can't wait to try them out!

Quality headphones, got a pair of these as my Shure SH440s were worn out, good all round sound, very good bass and comfortable, use mine for Djing and as general studio phones when producing, but very enjoyable for normal listening.

Go with the M50x, the M range are all similar build in terms of size, but the m50 offer superior sound especially for the price, they still sound nice on lower bit mp3s (Apple music standard bit rate is 256 and still sounds good on these!), they also look and feel nicer than the other 2. Bose are OK but sound nowhere near these.

If you don't mind open-back, these are a steal at their present price:
Sennheiser HD 558 - £59.95 at Richer Sounds

If you're not sure between the two types, read these:

Thanks, I did see them, but for an office environment I think the bleed would be a bit too much.

Pound for pound the best headphones you will buy. Genuinely if you are not sure just buy them - you will be very happy and you will feel smug knowing your headphones are better than those costing much more

Been using these for a day now. They are incredible. Glad I went for them. But not happy at all that i paid over a pound more than this deal - lol. Back to £119 now, but I'd still buy them knowing how good they are!

Not fair Amazon - under £88 before. I'd bite at £90.
