had these for 2-3 years now ,awesome sounding headphones

How do these compare to the white/black ect ?
Same headphones but one less cable and a hard case instead of pouch ? (Or have they all been updated to this now) Been wanting some for a while.
+1 either way

Going to order these

Hum I have never seen them , but they seem pretty in this colour. In regards to the cables, I only noticed now , seems to come with one less cable I guess its the smallest one missing isnt it ?

I'm not to fused about the colour as they would likely be used mainly inside anyhow. However I'd like to see a real picture. Its a good price and I prefer it over black anyhow. The dark grey was my choice before as I've only just been made aware there is another addition. The hard case is the much better option. Hopefully its the coiled cable they have dropped (I haven't looked yet as I may have to decide between these or the z906's I've ordered.

Seems to come with a 1.2m and a 3m. I'm not sure which is usually the coiled one. As pictures show one of each type.

The coiled cable is in the description and images. I hope they send it with that one because it would be definetly the one I would be using.
I think I will be ordering it today

Great cans, great price. Heat from me.

Shame they seem to come with one less cable, I transport mine around a lot and having 3 cables is definitely helpful. Depends on your use case though. I would have liked to have the hard case in trade for one of the cables as I put mine in my bag everyday.

Careful if you try buying a cable as they have a twist mechanism. Just looked on Audio Technica's website and it looks like you can buy the cables separate if needed.

I hope there may be away for me to but I won't know until later. I really want them (hard case great addition to this amazon exclusive colour/package) As I'd want one for them anyway. I just don't know which will be the 3m one ? I'm guessing the straight cable. Now I've got to see if I can find a real picture of them....

I'm guessing you own a pair with 3 cables and the pouch case ? I'm glad these have the hard case for bag use. Hopefully you can pick up cables on eBay occasionally.

Had these a year now. Love them. They get a lot of use. For price point these are superb. Highly recommended

I have the black pair (purchased a year ago) that came with 3 cables and pouch.
Don't take my word for it but the coiled cable that came with mine was 3m so I believe the straight cable is the 1m one.

IMHO not a gaming thing.. And not even movies... But music.. U will hear every guitar string... Almost like u r sitting in front of the instruments being played..
But it's big... Be ready for some stares in trains

I use them for gaming, they're perfectly good headphones for all uses. After own multiple 'gaming' headsets I prefer these by a mile.

Comfortable for long sessions then. Must be of its for music.

Thanks both

Was initially thinking about getting noise cancelling headphones but then was told if i wanted to get rid of all noise like siblings or general chatter at uni noise isolating was better. Wondering if these are any good with or without music playing

The best advice somebody could give you is that you need to be honest about where you wear your headphones. Is it really that noisy? What kind of noise is it?

You’ll pay a premium for NC headphones. Usually in cost terms as well as sound quality. Headphones with high isolation can be more than enough for most people listening to music at home / the office / uni - but if you’re a frequent flyer for example, where there is an invasive low frequency drone, then the NC headphones will make a huge difference to your listening experience.

OK thanks I'll have to use with a M-F cable to extend in the worse case as 1m wont barely reach the desk connected to PC. (No idea if 3m coil will work out OK or not)

I think whoever told you that got it the wrong way round. Noise cancelling headphones have technology built into them to actively attempt to block out noise whereas noise isolating headphones just relies on its materials and design to block out as much noise as possible.

These headphones fit around the ear very well which blocks out a good amount of noise, when playing music around half volume you will need to take them off to hear someone unless they're really loud.

M40s are better. And cheaper.

ya price range is double and its for a different purpose. But getting a pair of hd6xx at 190 £ after Vat, is amazing value for the headphones

More of a train commuter with a 3 hour round trip but lso will be used at home and having some youger siblings who like making noise hard to keep focused (although home not the best place ot be probably though anyway)

younger siblings a bit crazy nothing reasonable i can do to keep em quiet. Still comparing these to the Sony MDR 1000x for example, also skill isnt it that the m50x is good at blocking all noise better then the mdr 1000x but constant noise mdr 1000x cancels out better as it can pick it up and produce anti waves. just wondering which should get keeping in mind these are 120 and sony mdr 100 x can be gotten 199 John Lewis or 189 from amazon though price as a seperate condition as noice destroying most important
