That is a fantastic price, you'd have to spend many times that to get a better sounding set of cans, very hot!

Best headphones I've ever owned!

Good deal!

Great deal. Anyone had experience buying from this website?

same price but 3 year warranty: … same price but 3 year warranty: http://www.dv247.com/headphones/audio-technica-ath-m50-professional-studio-monitor-headphones--47663

True, DV247 does have a 3-year shop warranty. So, that's nice. But, it's not the same price. DV247 HAD free postage on those headphones, but now, it's £4.99 on top of the main price, which will make it £83.99 in total.

I suppose a 3-year warranty may be useful to some, but for me, headphones don't usually go faulty for many, many years. On balance, I think I'd rather save on the postage. If we were talking about an instrument or some PA speakers, I would definitely go with DV247 for the warranty. Headphones? Not so much

Yes, I have bought instruments/accessories from Gak over the last few years. Never had an issue.

Err....and DV247 went bust last year wiping their debts and reopened under the same name with questionable legality... Not sure I'd want to deal with them....

If there was an added extra on this for a 3 year warranty for another £5 I think most people would get it, any number of things could go wrong

True, some people have been a little wary of DV247 with last years' strange sale/reopening tactic. However, checking their faq does give some reassurance on warranties, etc. I recently bought some monitor speakers from them.

I have no doubt that spending an extra £5 is a no brainer! lol But, my point was about headphones. If something goes wrong, it's going to be within a few weeks or months - rarely beyond that. I've bought MANY types of headphones for studio/personal use and never had issues beyond that kind of timeframe. And if there are problems, they're usually fixed within a yearly warranty.

Just to reiterate tomjw, I'm sure most people would opt for DV247's extra postage cost if it means gaining a 3-year warranty. No-brainer, remember? But my experience of headphones in the last 15 or so years (both new and 2nd hand) tells me that it's not needed.

Far, far better than a pair of those "Beeps by Doctor Bray" thingummies which are all show but poor audio quality.

Anyone on a budget wanting a quality sound check out the range of headphones from Superlux.

Bought these from DV247 just few weeks ago when that other deal was on - good service and the headphones... OMG so good! Crisp, clear, very good noise isolation (both from outside and to outside), good finish quality and I love the recoil cable - it is good to be sure I wouldn't drag my headphone amp off the table before it is too late.

Though I still wonder how good are in comparison the AKGs 550... been eying them forever!

Very tempting... anyone know if the sound these produce is significantly different to that of Grado/Alessandro MS1i's?
