I've only heard great things about these

Bought first edition exactly year ago for £89.00 very happy

Reasonable price. Seven Oaks fulfilled by Amazon have just dropped the price from £129 down to £120.

Almost bought the v1 beginning of the year when they were available for £79. Think I read somewhere that the firmware could be updated making it 'almost' a v2. Deliberated over whether to order one then they sold out. Been patiently waiting for a similar deal since. Almost bought a Cambridge Audio DACMagic XS from Richer Sounds for £49.99 over the Black Friday weekend but then didn't as heard there's a new better USB 3.0 version due out soon. Decisions, decisions...

Should consider the epiphany acoustics gear, more decisions.

@esq3585

Had a quick flick through first link you provided, sounds mighty impressive, even if I don't understand all of the technical info, lol!

Are these only available from the one supplier (2nd link down), the makers of the product? If so, £89.99 the best available deal on them?

Don't think I need the EHP-O2 headphone amplifier, certainly not with my current Sennheiser HD380 Pro headphones? Although I think I'm correct in saying some of the higher models in Sennheiser range do require an amplifier to drive them?

Many thanks.

Think you can get them from Amazon too but they are more expensive, I got mine from Epiphany and the service is top notch. I would consider the amp as it does make a big difference or you could consider the amp dac all in one version but it doesn't include the rechargeable batteries that the amp on its own has which limits portability if you want to amp your headphones on the move . Combo here which takes up less desk space but no batteries which limits portability epiphany-acoustics.co.uk/pro…-3/

Amazon link pricier though. amazon.co.uk/gp/…1_3?qid=1418142199&sr=8-3π=AC_SX200_QL40

Ypu can even plug these dacs into your phone which is pretty cool

Damn I really wanted this! but it's expired now
