  • Low-profile ‘stealth’ dash cam sits unnoticed behind your rear view mirror, ready to back you up in the event of any incident on the road. Sony Exmor Sensor captures everything in super-sharp full 1080p resolution with super-wide 170° field of view and maintains strong performance in low-light conditions for nighttime driving. Captures video (with optional in-car audio) and stills
  • Emergency Recording Mode, activated by built-in gravity sensor, automatically captures unexpected driving incidents and protects them against being overwritten. Time-Lapse Recording creates a time-lapse video of your journey. Connect to the AUKEY GM-32 GPS Antenna (available separately) to embed precise location & speed data for fascinating trip tracking on free third-party software and greater protection
  • Easily and securely mount to your windshield in seconds with the included double-sided 3M pads. Even easier to remove if you don’t want to leave it mounted after your drive – just unplug the power cable and instantly unclip the dash cam from the mount
  • Powered by your standard car 12/24V socket via the included dual-port USB car charger (with spare port to charge your phone) and internal supercapacitor. Automatically powers on and starts recording when you start your car and stops when you switch off the engine. The supercapacitor withstands extreme heat & cold better than standard battery technology and has a far longer operational lifetime
  • Package Contents: AUKEY DR02 Dashboard Camera, Dual-Port USB Car Charger, USB Mini-B Power Cable (4m/4.37yd), Sticker Mount, Two 3M Stickers, Six Cable Clips, User Manual, 24-Month Warranty Card

Anyone had one of these? Thinking of upgrading my nextbase dash cam but that’s hardwired and doesn’t seem you can with this?
Thanks op, Which is better quality video capture the DR02 or Nextbase 312g? Obviously need the additional GPS Antenna for the DR02

You should be able to hardwire any dash cam. To follow on from someone else comment the 70mai pro has a Starvis sensor (IMX335) as recommended. It's often around the same price as this too.
I've found the genuine Next base kits good to hardwire dash cams of other brands, currently have it on my Street Guardian dash cam. I've had two of the generic Chinese kits and found them temperamental as the power starts and stabilises. The Next base kits are often on offer or reduced if you look around.

Yes. Good quality pic, can be really discrete and you can hide all wires.
Can be hardwired. Get one kit from Amazon or eBay. Make sure however that you do use a fuse that switches off eventually or use a battery monitor kit or a kit with external battery.
I have mine directly to a power supply that switches off after 10min of switching off the car.
These are great I've the duel version front and back I paid 100 quid. Have them in both cars great as a track cam too to combine footage.

They do a 4k version too

I have this and have it hardwired. It's very good and the picture / video quality is great. Luckily never had to use it but I've had close calls and reviewed the footage on my laptop and it's very clear. I haven't used other dash cams but I'm very happy for this one and I paid £50. It's very discreet and we'll hidden with its flat design.
Been looking for one for awhile and for this price and all the reviews I think its worth a punt. Have some heat op

No, you will need to buy a usb hard wire kit. They are about £15, alternatively like I did go to Halfords and they provide and fit it for £25. They did a good job with mine and we're happy to fit one that they didn't sell.
