I Must Admit , these guys offered me free free item(s) or "heavily " discounted items for a "fair" review, apparently they will send me the full item value to my paypal account and send me a link to purchase the item , I asked them if i find the item was terrible i will rate it as 1 star , never heard back from them gain.must say this is not the first time i have had this offer from sellers

the reason I say the above is because I purchased the very same item when it was on for that stupidly cheap price of £7.99 a while ago. it had a constant coil noise coming from the charger it was so loud comparable to my dehumidifier, i wrote to them , i was advised not to use it , and sent a replacement , 2 weeks later the same happened , I returned it for a refund ,

I cant fault their Service Tbh! they were polite and quick to respond, but a big but i think they were trying to bribe me, has happend a few times from market place sellers, their deals seems to have a regular presence here.

I might just purchase from them again becuse of the service recived , but i 'd rather have got a working product though!

Amazon is being absolutely plagued by marketplace sellers like this. Check out dashcams and the like, lots of lovely 5 star reviews, often with lots (and repetitive) words and some nicely shot photos for good measure.

Go to a listing for an item that is sold only by Amazon however, one that would still command a lot of techie interest (e.g. Logitech Harmony remotes) and you get none of that. If there are photos it is usually to show damage or a fault and the text is a lot more varied.

The rating system is utterly worthless these days on Amazon, they really need to sort that out.

Before I'd even consider paying for anything remotely dodgy or chinesey on Amazon I check reviewmeta.com or fakespot.

That is brilliant - thank you for the link! It just took out almost 50% of the reviews of the dashcam I had been eyeing up.

"8 of the 19 total reviews for this product use substantial repetitive phrases between them. This is an excessively large percentage which may indicate unnatural reviews."

Brilliant - I love it.

EDIT: Seriously, I would like to see a link to this analysis on every Amazon marketplace item listed on HUKD. Just so people can make more informed decisions. I know it isn't 100% accurate or can be taken as gospel, but hopefully it will make others aware of just how dodgy the reviews are these days.
