Do you believe this or this ?
For what it's worth, I have an Oldshark G13 that uses the same Sony Exmor sensor and the video quality on it is excellent. This is one of the few dashcams that actually tell you what's in it.

I have two of these dash cams and without having anything to compare them to I have no issues they are good video Night and day so I have zero complaints at £34 I’m happy for the proof I didn’t cause an accident
Can an owner confirm please if this connects via wifi to download videos or does the sd card have to be removed?
Ordered thanks

Can’t comment on the Yi dash camera but I have a Yi indoor cam and that’s okay too
Thanks for posting the deal PSP91 and replying

Pity not having Wifi facility as would have ticked all the boxes
+1 for the YI cam. Great quality and great app.

Why would you even need wifi on a dashcam if its already got an inbuilt screen?
As for transferring after an incident, with every minute taking up around 100Mb, surely its much faster & reliable simply using the card?
100% claimed
Have this.

Picture quality is good enough both night and day.

Biggest issue is it's not got a battery in, so unless your lighter socket has power when the ignition is off, it'll turn off instatly. This could be an issue if there's a crash, you might lose valuable footage. I might get a different camera for the front and use this as a rear one.

You could hard wire it into a permanent power source but then you have to have a low volts cut out so you don't drain your car battery.

It's not uncommon for people to put wifi and touch screen above picture quality. Sign of the times maybe. I can't see what's so difficult about ejecting the SD card and viewing on a decent size screen if there's something you want to check.

But surely those type of people are generally too young to drive anyway?
{EDIT} - Thinks of those who think an iphone camera is better than a DSLR .... ok maybe not

You'd think. But seeing some of the twits driving behaviour, it belongs more on games in the playground than on the road.
To your edit, you could add a 15.6" laptop's too big, too heavy and the same laptop's not worth having unless it has HD, touch screen etc etc. Either mummy's too generous or there's a mountain of debt (Mummy's or spoilt brat's?) looming.
