Why have they done this... they could have put them horizontally on the side of the unit or at the end in a cluster. Strange design choice from Aukey who typically make good products.

Definitely a bad design flaw and no surge protection either.


Surge protection is not required as far as I can tell its really a gimmick to charge more and make more profit, none of my extension adapters have it and never been an issue.
Got one of these by my bedside table. Been working great for over a year
