Any one worked out how to recharge these on a budget yet ? Lol
Charger requirement kills the deal. Shame, would've jumped on it otherwise.

You can use the 1 battery instead of 2 if you make the torch a smaller size. But I do need to find out how long there batteries will last.
This is a really good torch, I have one at the caravan. I also got a 12v charger while I was at it though.

Why a deal breaker?
Chargers from couple quid available here
Better with an intelligent charger like this but I know some like a cheepy cheep deal so under £2 should satisfy them......

Yes, for £1.82 to you Sir....
Sounds impressive for the money. I'd probably want to know what brand the batteries are. Cheap Li-Ions can be dangerous when charging even with a good charger...and I doubt for this price they would be a reliable brand.

Because cheap chargers are dangerous, and a decent one (like the smart one you linked) comes in at more than the price of the torch. Great price if you've already got a suitable charger though!
Anybody having issues adding this to the basket after redeeming the promotion thing ?

Well that explains why it wouldnt go into the basket then.

Don't count on the batteries being any good. I bought one of these the other week and one of the batteries was completely faulty. It wouldn't charge in our old charger and the positive terminal dislodged when inserted, very poor quality. I now have one of these chargers and it won't even recognise it as a battery, so pretty rubbish.

Probably because you didn't read the instructions and take the sticker off the battery end

I was close to return it thinking I got a dud, then I've noticed that green sticker

I knew about the sticker because I saw it mentioned in a video review. When the torch didn't work I removed the bottom section and tried the batteries in turn. It may be I was unlucky, but judging by the build quality I would be wary of leaving the batteries charging unattended.
Bought one last week, excellent torch (I have 8 various 1850 torches already) and use them daily.
Broad beam angle and nicely made - an absolute bargain at £10.00.
Capacity on the batteries checked out at 2540 and 2610 mAh respectively so not Chinese cells.
Order got cancelled
Yep order cancelled, poor practice from seller!!
