Where's the code, still shows £45
mod
@Mr_Cc you need to use the code - CTCNCUB7 this will bring the price to £29.99
Seems to be a great price but my concern is that it appears that the light is equivalent to a 40Watt conventional incandescent lamp. If that's the case, isn't it far too low an output for reading by?

Where does it say that?

If you are asking about whether this is equivalent to a 40Watt normal bulb or not, Mr Google might be your friend. Personally, I would suggest that a minimum of 12Watt would be a more suitable light if you are planning to read non-digital material.
Can you change the bulb yourself when it goes? How much is a new bulb? Where is the on off switch located? Some of them are in really awkward places on these kind of lamps.

Just click Get Deal as it's all there. The switch is on the lamp stand (that sticky out bit in the pictures). There isn't a single bulb -it's many small LEDs so not changeable I imagine but it says you should get 50,000 hours out of them which is pretty good for a cheap lamp. Heat added.

Worse then gambling I think !!
Got mine. Assembled in 5 minutes. Funky little number. Matt grey material and very malleable goose neck. Not very tall but that's good for me.

I actually ordered one of these straight after my first post; it arrived yesterday.

This is more than bright enough for reading, in fact, you have to turn it down as it can be too bright.

I angle mine toward the ceiling to diffuse the light as it can be too bright pointed toward furniture like the display picture shows and it really does a great job.

Silly question but did they send you the wrong one by mistake? I have a 12Watt LED desk light from TaoTronics and I find it is just bright enough to work with and so never have it at any level than full on.
