Thanks OP, I've been waiting for this to drop again 👌
Sorry if this is a silly question, will the fast charge work with iPhone 7?

No, it will not. It’ll charge it at the same pace as a 12W Apple plug.
Not discounted for me

I had to add 50% off code which made it £6.99rather than £5.99.Usually wouldn't have bought it but sons been looking this exact charger.
Thanks, ordered. Perfect timing as my xiaomi phone came with a non-UK plug so I'd rather have this than use an adapter
Thank you poster. £1 cheaper this time than the last time it was on offer a month ago
January I paid £5.60. Not impressed with the charge ratio. May be I need fast charging cable.
Using anker one, which is better than this.

You'd be lucky if an iPhone 7 had that feature. The 8 doesn't either
Is this a power bank?

Plug-in fast charger, higher output for fast charging capable devices
They are nice little chargers, I got one on an uncontested eBay auction for £2.10 a while back...
Will this fast charge work with Samsung Galaxy S10 plus?

Really!!!!!! This is from Apple site,
Fast charging gives you a quick and convenient way to recharge your iPhone 8 or later. Your iPhone fast charges up to 50 percent in 30 minutes when you use an Apple USB-C to Lightning cable and one of these adapters: Apple 18W, 29W, 30W, 61W, or 87W USB-C Power Adapter.

I meant with the normal plug given because all phones give it. Apple charge seperate to make more money off people.
Decent charger, very good for the price. Build quality isn't quite as good as Anker but otherwise can't fault it.
Can someone please recommend a decent deal for a cable to match this plug? Thanks!
Will it work with the s9

Will I get £150 for changing over??

that is what I was hoping, seems thats not the case and its just a plug to waste more money on here like we do everyday
Does anyone know if this will fast charge an iPad 2018 model? Cheers!
Will this charge honor phone?
Pretty sure you can use any cable. The charger plug is the bottleneck. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Cable makes a big difference
Pricing is comparable to other quick chargers on Amazon. Maybe £1 or 2 difference but doesn't seem to warrant a must buy feeling. Anything special about this one in particular?

Also to those asking "will this work with x phone". Yes, it'll work with your phone provided that you have the USB to phone connector. Whether fast charging will work depends on whether your phone supports it, in which case you can just google "<my phone name> fast charging".
JamesClark199117/08/2019 20:04

Why?

Thickness of the wires on cheaper cables can be thin which limits the current passing through. Especially on longer cables.

Also some usb c cables have a resistor on them
Has this expired? Not being discounted for me...
Got it £6.99 and I don't have prime there was a checkbox that said apply voucher save 50% and it gave me for £6.99

Take it all the way to check out, should be a voucher -£7.00
I've noticed something about fast charging. It charges phone fast but power doesn't last as long as using a regular charger. Anybody else noticed same with their phones?
Doesn't work

Best thing to do if you have an iPhone is to take the phone and where you see the opening to insert the not so lightning cable, insert two wires in the left and right hand side and plug directly into the mains and go out and buy a real phone.

Does this fast charge the iPhone X?
Can somebody confirm if it will fast charge a Huawei Pro P20?
I purchased a "like new" refurbished OnePlus 5T form GiffGaff, but unfortunately came with dash charger, would this work on a OnePlus device and charge it quicker than an old 2A USB charger I am using?

Incorrect. The iPhone 8 does support 18w PD fast charging.

That said, this is not a PD type charger.
