It's tricky
When I flew out to Dubai, at UK airport I was asked to leave it in main luggage...

On my return at Dubai, I was called out to retrieve my mains to bring the battery pack out and was asked to keep it in cabin baggage.....I nearly missed the flight.....

Thank you.
I've got one of these and it's a godsend - not too heavy to carry around in a backpack and it charges my Huawei P20 Pro very fast. I rarely leave home without it!
There is also available the same AUKEY power bank with USB C instead of Lightning port which works out 2 quid more.
I have this exact power bank and would not recommend. The power button on it is too easy to press. Often I have it in my bag and will take it out only to find the torch mode has been on for hours draining the battery

You can carry them. You cannot use them.

Just check the restrictions on the airline's website before packing.

I flew with Qatar Airline a couple of weeks ago and the advice was not to pack in hold luggage, and should be packed in hand/carry-on luggage.

Thats what I did and had no issues.

Can it charge a 'normal' (NON USB-C 'chargeable') laptop?, or ... thanx.

(Eg. Lenovo laptop, and/or an ACER laptop, and similar such likes?).

There are generic 19v battery packs you can get and get suplied with the plug for your laptop in the kit.

I bought one a few years ago. It also charged with a 19v PSU which was nice.

Go on eBay and search for item

You'll see the type of thing I mean, this item is outrageously expensive, but I'm sure you'll find something cheaper if it's meaningful to you.
