*EDIT* 2x 1m OOS but 1x 1m + 1x 2m is still IN STOCK for £2.99 (Better value IMO)
Spotted thiis while shopping around for some USB A to Type C cables for the S8 around the house. Used theses before and would definitely recommend them for anyone that wants cheap but good, long lasting cables.

Just buy any Anker product, then give it a bad review (mine was genuine), they then message offering a full refund and you can also pick anything up to £20 value from their store (I got a 5 pack of USB C Cables)...Of course they want you to change the review too.... My scenario was genuine but if like me you're a tight ar$e then there you go, that'll teach em for buying reviews... You're welcome

Some USB C phones require a longer metal connection which these do not provide.

Thanks. I think mine does as most cables I buy just fall out the connector as they don't go in enough. Was going to get these but won't now. Any recommendations for the longer tipped ones?

I bought a couple of USB C from Home Bargains yesterday, £2.50 each, 1 meter braided type and they seem quite good. Best of all, the tip fits the Oukitel K5000 perfectly with a good 'click'. The Oukitel requires a longer tip (8mm I think) and these are perfect. Branded Salkin. I'm no cable expert mind you :-)

So they're basically paying you to leave a good review. Ironically.

YUP, if they want to abuse the system you can play them at their own game.
Tnhanks OP purchased as I have recently lost one and have no spare now this should do the trick!

ditto - shame they're usb 2.0 only, so basically useless for transferring large files unless you enjoy a long wait

I'll probably use them just as charging cables
Best USB A to C cable for transferring files from pixel 2 to a pc??
Thanks heat added and ordered

Basically bribing custoners to leave good feedback, what a bunch of "Ankers"!!

I haven't personally tried the Anker ones but Aukey in my opinion has a reputation for quality just like Anker. I have a few of these cables around the house and only one has broken so far though rough use (like.. being crushed under my chair )

I might buy these as spares.
Doesn't seem to matter how many of these or usb ones I have, they go missing... thanks OP ordered
Thanks. Will be ideal for in the car and in the office!
IMHO Aukey is slightly inferior to Anker and the name is meant to confuse. I've bought a few of their products and they don't last as long as Anker. Bought these regardless because it's cheap

Definitely agree Anker products are always better build quality than the equivalent Aukey products - Have bought cables (Micro USB, USB C to C & A to C and wall plugs at different wattages) The Anker product always feels more sturdy but the Aukey seem to do the same job at the end of the day. Never had either fail me yet but here's hoping eh?

I just take a Stanley knife and cut off the plastic bits, then get good fit
Or buy these for 23p and use your old cables....
