I understand that this won't be for everyone given that wide usage of USB A, but for those whom have made the shift to newer devices with only USB C ports, this is a great price. Fairly new product, so I suspect that they are trying to get some shifted to start reviews. Aukey cables are always of a great quality, and 2m is fantastic when not sitting on top of your plug sockets...!

If unaware, USB C is common in modern smartphones (exc. Apple), and also on newer laptops (Dell, Apple, HP et cetera).

You could use this with older devices using an adapter, in the event you are planning an upgrade soon; but personally the thought of having to use an adapter for everything is pretty horrible.

Great deal for a new product from Aukey.

I have this cable, it's very very high quality and will certainly deliver high voltages and currents via PD or QC.
Because of this it's quite thick, and the wires are stiff.

I would like to think that's a good sign.

But if it's too thick it won't fit into tight spaces. Especially if fitting into a hole
On first look and feel these are great. They seem really well made. I bought a load them about a year ago but they only lasted about 6 months before wearing on the usb C connector. They began falling out of the phone after 6 months use. This is obviously a combination of wear on the phone and cable but they still wear more than they should.

For the price I guess you can't complain and they are very good at sending replacements if this does happen.
I generaly get the cable's free with the chargers . Voted hot if suitable for Power Delivery
I bought 3 braided cables for £6 a few days ago. They work well (including with Quick Charge 3.0) and feel very robust.

Great spot, recently lost our Pixel 2 cables and needed a replacement.
I don't think anyone who buys these will be disappointed, other than. Those who want a more flexible cable. I have one in my car to charge my phone, because of the stiff cable it's difficult to keep today and neat. Other than that it's beyond criticism.
Note 1 in the description says This cable can not be used to load MacBooks, but connected devices already. Please use the original cable (or similar cable) to charge your MacBook.

Not sure what that means really, but doesn't sound like it's suitable for MacBooks.

Think this one is better and it's USB-IF certified too (dearer at £6.99 though): amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1
Awesome deal for a USB C to C cable, have no doubt it'll be great since it's from Aukey.

Cheers OP, ordered and heat added

Not the same cable, that's USB A to Type C whereas this is Type C to C. These are generally more expensive whereas USB A to Type C can be found in Poundworld

Woops!
Received this yesterday and the quality is fantastic. A worthy replacement to the original pixel 2 cable and better. Not tempted to get another for the car!
