In all honesty, I don't really know, but I can't imagine there's any laptop using much above 48W. If you use the USB port simultaneously, it will probably slow things down, but I'd take a chance on it.

Bear in mind that the USB-C port will only output 30W on its own. The 48W is for the 2 ports combined.

My laptop's original charger is 61W and I sometimes use an Anker 30W to charge it and it works. Really slow and if I am using it intensley it will drain more rapidly than it will charge, but it definitely gets the job done. Not sure how many watts your original charger is...

What do you make of that laptop if you don’t mind me asking
Hi I had a HP Envy 13 prior to this and it's a lot more 'industrial' than the Envy. Now I've got used to the larger form factor I think it's a great laptop if you can get for a good price. Got mine from a Chinese website beginning with G. Only took 2 weeks to arrive and no tax as choose standard shipping, £593 all in which was a good price. Reinstalled Win 10 from a USB stick and activated fine.

Cheers

Yep mine is a 60w charger so if I get a lower wattage then it'll just take longer to charge. I'll see what else is out there. Cheers
