I must be insane buying this for my 8 yr old's birthday when it only has 10minutes of flight time, but this has been the lowest price so far, I hope! Back in stock at the moment

Edit - on Amazon at the same price too now.

Top features:

- Experience telekinetic power with glove controller

- Advanced flight sensors for auto landing and hovering

- Rugged wireless technology to avoid interference

Experience telekinetic power

Use the power of your hand gestures to move the Aura GestureBotics C17800 Drone With Controller. Gesturebotic Sensor is a unique patented technology that lets you fly the drone with precision simply by using hand gestures, giving you telekinetic powers.

Not to be rude, but dont think any 8 year old is ever going to be satisfied with a mere 8 minutes of pure fun!
Shame there is still no new technology to make these things last a lot longer!

I get what you mean. Personally I feel us as parents want the toys and just use my kids as an excuse!

4mph they will get bored before it's out the box. Plenty of parrots available for less and you can buy spare batteries

Guys is this a good little starter machine? I want to get one as a surprise for hubby?
I've seen a few come on here around £45 with good reviews but don't mind spending a bit more to get a better product?

I have no idea but as it went oos previously at this price I decided to buy it and then search for reviews. It was my son who said he wanted this so not sure where he's seen it. We have remote controlled drones from Gearbest already, he had that at 7, he'll be 9 in the next few weeks and now wants a motion controlled one. In between football, taekwondo, swimming and school work, he probably only has 10 minutes free time, so perfect for this drone!!! There are other motion controlled ones for cheaper but feel this is more robust.
