If it is it looks like it isn't aura compatible at all. Aura is asus software and hardware that controls rgb lighting. And Its probably being voted hot because People think it's aura compatible.

Bought this for a friends 65” TV. Works fine sticks down ok, even by kinking it abit to make it bend to go down the sides. Casts a decent amount of ambient light onto the wall. He’s going to get another mind as it only casts light half way down the side and along the top so requires another for the bottom thus will need two USB ports (obviously only because it’s a monster of a TV). Not sure if 1 remote would work for both but can’t see why now. Pics below to show you the full details.

I installed mine today. For £7 it's well worth it.

The corners are a nightmare though and seem to pull the whole strip down. I've used some gorilla tape for the corners.

Ah. Didn’t have that problem as wasn’t trying to make it go around a right angle, just made it kink off at more like 45 degrees and then again to make the full corner turn. Probably more forgiving on 65” than say a 32” which it’d probably go more or less all way around. Very good though for £7. Like I told him you can probably get same from eBay for a couple of quid less but easier to return to Asda if you aren’t happy or have any issues.

The cheaper ones are from China and have no real approval in the UK. I wouldn't be happy plugging those into my USB mains adapter.

I was going to twist and bend them, but my concern was that it would damage one of the lights. Do you have a picture?

I did mine round a 22" wall mounted pc monitor.

You think how I've done it is alright? Can't see I'm losing any light this way but can't be sure?

Looks fine to me. I did same having the strip stuck on the angled part so it shone both upwards and on to the wall. At the corners I kinked the cable a bit and it seemed to have stayed stuck down ok. Told him to dust the tv before sticking to help.

They are all from China.
$5 in Walmart....
How long are these? It says suitable for 65" TVs but would that cover the sides and above?
2m, so just measure all around.
