Your hairdresser will tell you that, whilst still perfectly safe to use, hair products degrade over time and old stock does not perform as well as new stock. I'm bald and my dog doesn't notice the difference, so that's for others to decide So far, no evidence that it is "seriously addictive" - certainly not in comparison to Pringles.
