Australia is the new film from director Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge, Romeo And Juliet) and stars Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.

Australia centers on an English aristocrat, Lady Sarah Ashley (Nicole Kidman), who inherits a ranch the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn cattle driver (Jackman) to drive 2000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country's most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier

I really enjoyed this movie, really nice heart-warming story, a must-see in my opinion.

Awesome. I have been waiting to get this film on blu ray with the digital copy included but for this price I'll just have to settle for an upscaled version!

Oh really?

You have a lower price for a sleeping aid - so thumbs up

this was agreat film.

Got to agree. Thought this would be rubbish, but very pleasantly surprised.

Fantastic film, especially having spent many years in Australia, had even more of an understanding of it. bargain!

Terrible - cliched reminded me of crocodile dundee without the jokes

Awful film.
Way over long and would have been much better had it ended halfway through

Love the film, really love it.

Wasn't too sure when I first saw it at the cinema, but it's grown on me.

Of course it's cheesy, cliched and's a "classic"/"epic" definition they're cheesy and long.

It could have been a regular 2 hour movie, sure, if they just sped up all the slo-mo shots of HJ looking buff, but then the ladies wouldn't get nearly so much out of the movie

It's not one that you're going to watch every day, as it's just too long, but well worth £4 for a single watch.

Not usually impressed by so called ' movie stars ' , but quite enjoyed this effort . Ms Kidman even managed to keep her mouth closed when not speaking .
'Quigley down under' a better film imho & not so hyped up .

I had some fun with this back in July when the price dropped from £12.98 to £5.95 - see ]http//ww…-z/. It subsequently crept back up to £6.95. It now seems to have run its course, and has been consigned to the bargain bucket. It takes a while for everthing to settle, so today I traded my old copy in to CEX for £7 and ordered a new one from Play at £3.83 i.e. £3.99 less 4% Quidco.
