Although I presume you may still get the free gift going through WHSmith, it doesnt seem to mention it anyway, but is normally given by Autoexpress for all new subscriptions.....

But, to make sure it may be worth going direct for the same deal and advertised free gift....

good find

hmmmmmmm, do they really cancel the DD?

There is normally trouble in cancelling - not worth the effort IMO

Autoexpress are part of a big well known publishing house and will not give you trouble like good ol Setanta used to.... I've had subscriptions with them on and off over the years and never had an issue when cancelling!

Ps - If you tell your bank to cancel the DD they will and have to as long as you have told the subscription company that you wish to end the subscription.

I have not had problems cancelling from this offer but
if you do then just delete your Direct Debit.

WRONG

Hot from me, just signed up. Auto Express have to be my favourite car magazine, so for a quid for 6 will save a fortune.

I'm already a subscriber and they let always let me extend my subscription with these offers (including free gifts). Brilliant! Mag's OK too.

Forget WHS, just go straight to the publisher.

So what you just call up when the do an offer and ask if you can change your subscription? If so that makes this deal all the better.

No, not change, extend. If you use the forms in the mag they even have a box to tick to say you're extending. If you call them they are happy to do it too. Surprised me too but it has always worked. Some good gifts too, though there are only so many mini toolkits one person can use!

I'll just read them, for free, in WHSmiths

This week's issue has a coupon with six for a quid, free Maglite and tick box to extend an existing sub with the offer. Great deal.

Call them on 0844 8440026 or you can go online at www.dennismags.co.uk/autoexpress (quoteP1096).

Tried it and same for me but I think that's just the ongoing rate (after the intro offer) for the DD, which a fantastic price anyway. I've always done mine by 'phone as it's so simple and should reassure you - give it a try.
