Best way to completely ruin your tyres if used
Was going to ask someone, so be it you;
are the tyres a write off after using this stuff, or can the gunk that gets inserted be removed at a later date?

Many thanks in advance
Trashed
Not true, can be washed away with solvent all garages use and tyre will be the same as before application, used this or other varients many times before without issue!

Sorry, you're WRONG. Perfectly suitable to use and tyres are easily cleaned before repairing with proper puncture repair.

It really does depend on the frame of mind of the person repairing the tyre.
Some tyrefitters wont/dont want to do a puncture repair if this has been used.
However, in an emergency, i have had used a similar product, and it worked.
I have a VW with the pump and goop, the pump has stopped working would this be as good as a replacement?
Never had to use it in 8 years fingers crossed. Rip off anyway as the goop goes out of date and needs to be replaced.
I used this to repair a puncture on one of the large read wheels of my garden tractor (aka ride-on lawnmower). That was 5 years ago. Been fine ever since.
Good stuff in an emergency.
Heated.

This is water based like Holts tyre weld and supposedly washable with warm water....personally I wouldn't use it and would rather have a spare wheel but with alot of cars not having a spare wheels these days i suppose it's better than nothing....sort of tempted to by a can "just in case" lol

Much appreciated for the advise mate.
Wouldn't use myself as have spare tyre and wont take me long to change should i have to,
but considering one just for the mother really, to make it quick n easy; hmm to buy or not to buy;

Still undecided
Just to say I have used this stuff and have been running around in my car for 3 weeks with it, took it into the garage today and they repaired it no problem. Bargain especially if you have no spare tyre.
