Might be worth a shufty in my local.. cheers
iirc these were £35 when launched. I've got the previous version they were selling and it's great
I bought this a month ago in Loughborough store for £25 and it wouldnt pick up a steady signal between Leicester and Skegness and back.Just kept catching and dropping rendering it useless. Took it back after a week for a refund and the staff member told me they have had a lot of those returned this time.
Gonna use mine for Bluetooth music, don’t think dab is that good for my car set up yet unless the signal can be amplified
In car dab is not the best they really need to sort it before radio goes digital only

Yes not a problems and can use siri or google assistant
Picked one of these up today in Morecambe. Actually, tried to get it last week but it was the last one, and someone had gone home with the keys to the cabinet. Having said that, it was still there today showing there's no demand or interest in it, and it's weird because it's excellent. It plays music from Micro SD cards, you can Bluetooth your phone to it, and it let's you broadcast on FM to any frequency on the scale. The aerial comes with 2 bits that stick out, and you stick the small black bit on the windscreen, the clear tab on the glass and the copper coloured bit on the metal frame of the door. In doing so, the frame becomes your aerial and the quality of this product is every bit as good as the Pure Highway, which with Bluetooth is over £100. Definitely a bargain!
Ive been reading up on these since getting mine last week. The key thing that lots of reviewers miss is that the aerial mount is absolutely crucial. They usually have a black box in the middle, a white film arm for the aerial and a metalic black or copper strip coming out of the opposite side. What the instructions dont make clear is that when you mount the aerial , it should be mounted to the windscreen only. What you do is remove the piece of the car that is to the left of the windscreen. Place the aerial near the top of the windscreen with enough space for the white strip to point upwards. Then stick it down onto the glass, close to the exposed metal that was behind the cover you removed. Stick the black/copper strip from the aerial to the metal. So this means you have the copper strip stuck to the metal frame of the car, the black box and white strip attached to the glass. The instructions are not clear at all with this Aldi device , but the difference is staggering. The metal aerial is the black strip, so if you don't attach this to the frame of the car your reception will be rubbish. The aerial installer at my local store said he likes to scrape away some paintwork for a better connection but i did not find this necessary.
