I bet your the sort of person who uses shampoo to wash your hair and …I bet your the sort of person who uses shampoo to wash your hair and shower gel to wash your body. Bar of soap does everything for me ;-)Maybe I should use the antibacterial fairy to prevent legionella? Don't believe the damaging paintwork thing. think it's misinformation put out by the car product Industry.

Resourceful indeed my friend. Why don't you simply go all out and use the bar of soap you clean your body and hair with, to clean your car? Then instead of throwing the bucket of soapy water away, just pour it into your screenwash reservoir? You could clean your body, hair, car and windscreen with just soap and some water and laugh at those that use shower gel, shampoo, car shampoo and screenwash respectively for the same tasks.

Fairy damages the car paintwork over time so I would maybe think again. Plus, summer temps mean it’ll turn your car reservoir into a legionella breeding ground. Screenwash has alcohol to prevent that.

£2 for pre-mixed screenwash isnt a bargain in my book.

You'll find that over the years your washer tank filter will get clogged with slime and your washers will stop working. Washing up liquid is no good but that's the only problem you'll have with it.

Other fella is correct plus it washing up liquid can make your water leak out in time, corrodes somewhere in the joints apparently.

I've seen damage through using washing up liquid first hand. Nice comeback on the legionella though. But the alcohol in screen wash works better lol
Do you dilute?
Cold from me, given that two litres of Prestone Extreme Concentrate is £3.50 in Tesco and will make many, many more litres than this pre-mix stuff.

Can't put a price on convenience!
I wouldn’t use this stuff to clean my missus make up mirror
If you after good stuff guys try Quantum - genuine vw audi group screenwash

This hot weather has got me paranoid about legionella. I'm going to buy proper screenwash tomorrow.
