Autocare Universal Bulb Kit £2.50 @ Tesco
After visiting Halfords where they wanted £9.99 for one H7 headlamp bulb, my next stop was Tesco garage, where I picked up a Autocare Universal Bulb Kit which included the bulb I wanted and several others for £2.50, apparently half price .
Noticed they are showing online also, so should be available in most Tesco stores and garages.

euro parts are 14 miles away and not open on a Sunday, so no really use today, Saved a massive amount over Halfords price, and I'm sure some of the other bulbs will come in handy as we have three cars altogether.
Overall I'm very happy with the kit and the price,

Asda sells the same kit, and Home Bargains. HB normal price is £2.50. I used the headlamp bulb, and it died after a couple of months, so may be a false economy.

These cheap kits can be OK for emergencies (though no one round here seems to bother and a light out is compulsory for minicabs! oO) but they are unlikely to contain the right selection for your car. They are poor quality so if your bulbs are difficult to change (many are these days) you may be peed off when you have to do it again a few weeks later.

Absolutely right. I replaced a H7 headlight bulb with one from a kit like this one. It took me a good 30-40 minutes to get the right tools to remove the all the air filter assembly, manifold, cabling etc then mess about trying to fasten in the bulb after the clip had pinged out. Just under two weeks later and the bulb has gone and I need to go through the process again. This time I have gone back to Osram bulbs on Amazon (£10 for a pack of two).
