this is about as good a screenwash as you can get just dilute down to the conditions(i use a 500ml bottle to 3 litres and never had any trouble with freezing conditions.this is usually around £6 a bottle(and remember this stuff is safe to use on your paintwork, not like some other screenwashes)£2.95 A BOTTLE YOU CANT GO WRONG.

great product better than the smelly crap that discolours paintwork and stinks your car out

Great product. Especially at this price.
Have heat.
I got this recently and I thought it was really good compared to the euro car parts rubbish always on here , it’s handy it being in a small bottle as-well...
I rate this personally, used a bottle with 4 litres and it doesn't leave any residue and cleans the windscreen well

Does this stop the nozzles from freezing?

Won't stop ice from forming over the top of the nozzle, but the nozzle itself won't freeze, nor will the pipes as long as some of this has been pumped through
No better than the cheaper stuff imo. Still freezes lije the rest.
Used to buy this stuff when it was on offer at Halfrauds and the others are right, unless you use it neat it just freezes up in winter conditions.

Prestone screenwash is easily the most cost effective, and forever on offer at Costco!
Prestone always deposits a smear for me

Blue or Yellow?
Have always used this and never freezes et all. Though i have never liked in below freezing conditions for long
I find that the residue is often from the tap water you dilute the screenwash with.

I use water from my condenser dryer. No residue whatsoever.

Agreed, terrible for smears (yellow, never seen blue); so much so that its dangerous in wet / dark conditions, unbearable with oncoming headlights. Will never use again but still to find anything smear free... might try this stuff!

The blue is absolutely perfect, never had a smear.
I've never had an issue with Asda concentrate. It's 2.50 for 5 litres.
Just use water.
Fair price for this, but damn, spend your money on better things than premium screenwash

You need something more than water to effectively scream the screen and remove dirt, especially living in the countryside

The smell from screenwash lasts about 4 seconds in the car. Maybe more if your fetish is sniffing the paintwork.
As for discoloured paintwork, cant say I've seen a car to date with dodgy paintwork only around the windscreen.

Love the marketing rubbish from autoglym for this screenwash. Don't get me wrong, this brand has good products but it looks like they are trying to justify their exorbitant pricing.

Bought 5 litres of the concentrated yesterday for £6 which still makes this ridiculously expensive.

That's what the marketing would have you believe. This is poor value when you can get 1L for £3-4.
Or try Apple cider vinegar...only 80p for 350ml at Tesco..
£2.21 with trade card
I’ve tried this, but prefer the BMW own brand, it’s cheap on amazon and is hyper contracted (the bottles are tiny but it makes loads) so you can keep it in your glove box.

Hi could you please tell me how do u use vinegar as screen wash I try diluted one but not good results
Thanks
Pretty sure it is always this price. Good screenwash for Spring / Summer.

Useless in winter and using it neat makes it very expensive.

Maybe your wipers aren't doing there job properly if u get smears with all screen washes. I noticed a slightly grease film on the passenger side wiper blade when I changed only the drivers side before the passenger side looked like that was doing a better job. Sees like I need replace that aswell.
So which is the best out of this prestone or the lidl one on here lots of people being saying lidls is the best works in minus conditions some saying they used it at -7. Don't really belive the blurb on the bottles though

Always change wiperblades in pairs. If you only change one the grease from old will transfer to the new wiper where the paths cross.

A cracked washer bottle costs a fair bit more than a splash of screen wash!

Never thought of that, good idea. It would be similar to distilled water I suppose
What some people here are missing is that this one is highly concentrated, so can be diluted right down, compared to some others that you get more in volume but cannot be diluted down that much as they won't go below minus 5 degrees or so. My VW group screenwash that they used to give me when I service my car there can protect down to minus 70 degreed celcius, so can be diluted right down, and goes a long way

Blue or Yellow?

I've only used the yellow and I don't like it at all. I will be flushing the system when it runs out, changing my blades and 'wirewooling' my windscreen to get the residue off properly.

Are you diluting it? Do you live in a hard water area?
