Bit of eighties nostalgia, still great fun after all these years along with Knight Rider, Street Hawk and the like

Previously been stuck at £22.00 so this is the first significant price drop

includes all 13 episodes and a 40 minute documentary on the show,

Wish I could do 90 degree turns.

Loved this as a kid and back in those days didnt care that it was a shameless Tron rip off...i wonder how its aged.

Tv was a bit daft back then. Worst of the lot was 'Manimal' with the late Simon MacCorkindale (Casualty)

I'd completely forgotten about this show! "Cursor" ha ha!

It's probably complete and utter rubbish now. But not in a funny Monkey kind of way.

I think I'll stick with Wire, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Deadwood etc.

used to love this and manimal!! heat fr nostalgia! somehow think the programmes might seem pretty poor these days.

Manimal was very very good, but I can not believe how scary it as when he changed, and I am not sure it would have aged

So tempted. But I know that I will be disappointed if I watch it.

Loved these as a kid, but no, the effects have not aged well, nor for manimal, possibly in part due to not watching them on a fuzzy CRT TV, seeing all the detail, the effects were great at the time, but don't stand up today seeing what we've seen since.

And don't forget street hawk
wow those were the days lol

Street Hawk was poor. He always fell off the bike in every episode. Airwolf, knight rider, Automan and Blue Thunder were the best. Not forgetting the A-team, although they were all had very predictable plots!

Badly, there's a few episodes on youtube

I loved this as a kid, but its pretty much unwatchable now.

Now that I'm in an 80s Nostaliga Mood, does anyone else remember Otherworld?

So tempted. Already have The A Team and Streethawk (they only made one series of Streethawk!!). Airwolf started good but soon got to the point where they obviously struggled to come up with stories that required them to use the helicopter so you hardly saw it till right near the end for the same short dog fight with another chopper.

Been trying to get that for years. Wasn't that sandwiched in that Saturday morning TV show (TX) with Tony Slattery, circa-1985?

Never released on DVD, the only DVDs you can get are recordings off tv

There is a bittorrent of the complete series that google will help you locate.
I remember it being on a Saturday morning too, though couldn't tell you what show it was featured in.

Manimal, where he could change into any animal, as long as that animal was either a panther or a hawk

Heat for nostalgia!

+1 heat for nostalgia here too - sadly you will need very thick rose tinted glasses as it hasn't aged well...
Any one remember the original Beauty & the beast (the one where in real life the actor killed himself playing with a prop gun?) I doubt that will ever be released on DVD. What about Crazy like a fox? Hart to Hart or ....darn it the names gone, although Magnum PI is still airing...

Ron Perlman was in Beauty and the Beast and he's still alive, you thinking of something else?

Ah - you are right (they remade that in 2012!) - no the series I was thinking of was called Cover up! The actor in question was Jon-Erik Hexum... I doubt we will ever see that on DVD...

Just looked it up, he was in 7 episodes, the guy who replaced him died of aids at 42. Bit of a cursed series

And the remake of Beauty and the Beast is totally different, sort of ok, easy watching

I remember having a discussion about an old TV show with the wife, I was telling her about a series and she was describing another one and 10 mins later we realised we were talking about the same one, Cover Up!
"I need a HEROooooooo, I'm holdin out for hero...."
Surprised the original actor who sadly shot himself only did 7 episodes though. Guess when you're younger and shows are only on once a week/bi weekly it seems like there were more made.

Oh and CHiPs, don't forget that one!
