95 piece kit.

I saw a stack of these instore tonight and thought that they represented quite good value.

Really handy kit to have in the back of the car or even for use in the house.

Obviously not good enough for the more serious car enthusiasts.

EDIT; These are only instore, sold out online.

Thanks for that bev.:)

Was starting to get annoyed trying to post a pic.

I have saved the image and uploaded to imageshack. Any idea how to put the image next to the deal description? Keeps saying invalid url or the like.

click the red triangle in top post and ask a mod to add the image (link below if you want to use the one i posted)

Got one of these a while back , much dearer than this btw, great price , not the greatest of quality , ok for light work though
the open end of the spanners are a nightmare , got a strange notch cut out.

This is a great price.

Note that this is the same tool kit (apart from the colour) as marketed by Draper and is currently selling at £14.99 @ Amazon (with a supposed RRP of £45.59)

Wickes have sold out online, and are sold out in some stores - but shop around and you should find one.

This is an end of line product - Wickes appear to have decided not to stock automotive parts any more - but they have some great deals on their run-out stock e.g. battery chargers, compressors (for inflating tyres), etc.

Just been down to Silverlink Wickes with my mate Tommy, snapped up one myself and Tommy bought the other 5, had none left in the back as he was gonna get those to, reckons he will make a mint of ebay with them, tight git!

Before others get carried away dreaming of making their fortune on this item, note that according to amazon, this item weighs 3.8kg boxed. (which is probably about right)

That means postage will be almost 9 quid including signature on delivery.

Bearing in mind you can get this item (albeit branded Draper) delivered free from amazon for £14.99, why would anyone pay more?

Even if you could entice someone to pay £14.99 on ebay for this Wickes branded item (I know I would prefer Draper, especially if it was to be a gift to someone), by the time you've paid your 10% ebay fees (say 50p if you make postage £10) & paypal fees @ 3.4% + 20p (70p), that leaves about £1.15 profit
(and that doesn't include insertion fees which you'll have to pay unless you are prepared to punt it in an auction starting at 99p)

also saw 2 ton trolley jack 7.50 ish, axle stands 3.50 ish, car battery charger 5.50ish. Are any of these good deals?

Yes the 2 ton trolley jack and axle stands sound cheap to me. Start a deal, it will probably get some warmth.

What you said is 100% accurate, but because there's still hundreds if not thousands of monkeys on ebay who think its the only place to get a good bargain online, you get people paying more for second hand stuff than most online stores sell it brand new for...there's a whole raft full of folks out there who seem oblivious to the existence of Amazon, Play, SVP Black Circles...etc..etc....its crazy but its true.

My wife's boss bought 1 of each cart for his office printer from the "cheap" cart store along the road, he **** a brick when my wife showed him he could have got 5 of each for the same money from SVP including delivery :-D

Methos.

Bah none in any bristol store

Agreed...but only if it is realised. ;-)

Very hot! Picked up the last tool kit from West Ealing.

Also picked up at set of Axle stands - £3.42 (a few more sets available)

Saving of about £28 off amazon / halfords price!

None left in Perth, the woman at the checkout said they went in about 60 seconds after they hit the shelf..:)

Picked up a set of jump leads for £5.65 the same ones are £25 in argos / £30 halfords so it wasn't a wasted walk

Methos.

will check it out today, if any left.
