She could/should have used a different word, but I think it is acceptable. See number 6.

Lets not get too involved in the semantics.

This product is not encouaging any illegal activity.

So just vote it cold and buy one. It's a cool deal at an unbeatable price.

I understood the law said 20 litres in purpose-made and marked metal can(s), or 10 litres in purpose-made and marked plastic container.

I store thousands of litres of fuel at home in a big metal tank. So does anyone who has oil fired central heating. Similar story with LPG.

LOL - the previous poster posted that link almost half an hour earlier

Not me causing the confusion - that confusion comes from Emma Brant

My apologies it may well not have been 1976 but it was definately after 1974 due to my having to travel a lot in the job I started in 1974 where I had to make sure I had petrol which meant a lot of searching then as no mobile phones et,. but definately no ration books. Garages were running short and rationing and a lot of it was down to panic buying
But, on a positive note, storing petrol at home means it will be readily available when you want to make petrol bombs for the next round of riots
