I got 2 of these, they are really good for the size. Had to travel for an hour and a half by bus to get to my nearest one in lakeside. It's annoying to collect but worth the money

Says £2.99 collect from asda no option of collection in store

They are really tiny, ok as kids school bags.

Same for me, I can only collect in asda for a fee. Strange as ive collected from Decathlon before.

That's right, but you can have a look if there are some near through 'Reserve in Store'.

Got one last time around, well worth it!

Great product shame it’s only that colour! As it is the worst colours of the lot but a great product at an excellent price nonetheless

Great for Minions though ☺

Nead to add #2.99 to price to cover delivery

I bought a few of these bags a few months ago. Recently I had a 4 day break in London and used one for the duration of my break. The bag was ideal , it held two bottles of water and some small purchases. The straps were easily adjustable so the bag could be worn by an adult comfortably.

I was struggling to get around the paid asda pick up too till i saw your post. Will be picking up at store free now.

Free delivery over 30, look in their Black Friday sale, some puma and Adidas clothing from 4.99

So I pay 79p for a bag then £2.49 to have it delivered..sorry definitely cold..click and collect was free last time from Asda

Could you get a pair of trainers in this?

It's very odd. On the checkout it says "Our commitments: Free Click and Collect"
Then "click and collect £2.99"

Some commitment!!

I would have just paid to have them delivered.
Unless you're going that way anyway or value your time at less than £4.50 an hour.

You might have been insulting to the poster there.

If they travelled by bus then they probably paid for the bus in which case they would have been fully aware of the cost - £2.99 for delivery is likely cheaper than a bus which takes an hour and a half.

If they get the bus for free then maybe they are disabled or a pensioner. Maybe they therefore have very little choice about it if they are living on a super tight budget.

Maybe they just like travelling or indeed as you say maybe they were going that way anyway. At any rate there is a fairly good chance that the poster you quoted could feel like your judgement about their choices makes them feel worse.

I don’t mean you did it on purpose it’s just worth thinking these things through before posting about what you’d have done differently to them. Start by thinking “why would they do that?” and realise there are reasons which maybe saying what you’d have done would make them feel like they don’t have the same ability to make choices as you in their life.

Anyway probably wasn’t insulting to them and I’m probably being defensive of someone else because I know my own disabled mother wouldn’t pay to get them delivered and certainly does value her time at more than £4.50 per hour but sadly society doesn’t.

if you want it delivered just order it from amazon other wise if you have asda near by it's still £1 saving to collect it from there

I have just ordered 20 online @ 79p and FREE p&p.
Tried to buy previously but site was saying in store only. Only no stores near me. Managed to order earlier today online with free p&p but now site saying in store only!
Guess I’ve been lucky!

I was going to buy it. Looked around a bit and came back. Sold out! Then I scrolled down saw you comment, I know why lol. Btw, why would you need 20 of them? Present for everyone?

Nice small pack, the colour for the 79p is not my taste though. £2.5 for a better colour is still a deal, lucky I got a store near me, will pay a visit.

As long as you're not size 12

Realistically there's space for decent sized pack lunch a notebook and couple pencils

It's about half the volume the average adult would assume . I reckon

I run a Beaver scout group and like to buy them each a birthday present. Couldn’t buy them manysweets for 79p!
Running out of my bargain buy of £2 beaver baseball caps!

Product not available online anymore, but they do have a lot off other cheap items and you can pick them up for free at ASDA shop.

OOS

We bought these at £2.49 each to take to Orlando and they are a great size for day bags to take around with you. Easily fit water, suncream, sunnies, wallet and a few other bits. Too small for a gym bag or travel but perfect for day tripping. Plus they fit in those tiny lockers in the theme parks haha.

Perfect for a good cause if you want to do something and give something back to the community...

Got so many of these bags when they were on offer last time... got all my friends/family involved and we filled all the bags with essential stuffs, dry food, winter clothes etc. and they are ready to go to homeless people now.

You are a wonderful person helping those less fortunate than ourselves. I just hope one day there are no more homeless.

Great Deal! Worth the price.

Took my order, confirmed for collection 09.54 and the cancelled 10.02....lol

I am not wonderful, I am the most worthless person... trying to do little bit for the community that we live in.

If we dont like/want any homeless to come and sit next/close to our home, then we must get out and do something for them... no matter how big or how little it is.
