Fantastic album the song nightmare is available on the game rock band and that song alone make you knwo this album is a return to form, unfortunality due to the revs untimely death the drummer for this album is drummer Mike Portnoy from dream theather and if you know any about dream theather you'll know it is not a disappointment. Yet again OP fantastic deal !

I must admit, the only reason I got this album (and saw them in concert last month) was because of Portnoy. Was never a fan of them before, but he is just my all-time favourite drummer.

They've binned Mr P.

Really? I thought they'd hired him full time after he left DT?

Well I never:

"Musician Mike Portnoy has announced his time behind the drum kit with Avenged Sevenfold has come to an end.

Writing on his personal website, Portnoy explained the rest of the band had made the decision to bring in a fresh face for 2011 and his departure at the end of this year had previously been agreed upon.

The drummer thanked Avenged Sevenfold and their fans for the memorable times he enjoyed as a member of the group.

"I had an awesome time on stage with the guys every night and have so many cool memories from the experience with them," he said.

Portnoy added he is excited about what his future may bring in the world of music and said he hoped to have the chance to work with some of the people in the industry he admires.

Avenged Sevenfold may have to move fairly quickly to find a replacement for the drummer as they have a number of tour dates coming up in early 2011.

The first two months of the year will see the group play a host of shows in different US states, with gigs planned in cities including Baltimore, Cincinnati and Detroit."

He's working with Neal Morse right now.I'd love to see him come back, but it looks like he's burnt his bridges with J, J, J, & J. Never mind, I'm still going down for High Voltage

brilliant album, me and the kids have been singing bat country on singstar all day!, unfortunately not on this cd tho
