Ooh, shiny
amazing price
4k? HDR?
Good price but at what point do we start saying 1080p is outdated for movie purchases?

Dvd is still best selling physical format so I think it will probably be a long time yet.
And then the 4K boxset
Showing £34.99 for me
Can also buy for 29.99 from HMV. Was a bit miffed that I pre-ordered this from Amazon and it dropped from 34.99 to 29.99 on the day of release. So I cancelled as it was out for delivery and bought from HMV instead.

These movies were mastered in 2K so the blu ray resolution is actually adequate. The HDR colour range depends on the quality of the screen so there have been cases where the SDR 1080p version looks more natural on budget tvs.

As long as I can get my fave movies for cheaper than the 4k premium pricing I'm sticking with 1080p

I seriously can't tell the difference in resolution with upscaled 1080p Blu Ray to 4k vs 4k Blu Ray on my 50 and 55inch Samsung 4k sets. The only noticeable difference for me is with HDR.
