It's not "proper 4k"? That's it, I'm not buying it until it comes out on Betamax.

Resolution is far from everything. I'd argue HDR and WCG are far more important than 4K. Most people won't notice a huge improvement through just resolution until either the TV size goes above 50-60" or the viewing distance goes below 1.5m. HDR and WCG are noticeable from any distance on any screensize.

How can they sell it as a trilogy when End Game exists?

Hi @Simon_Burston - I've removed the non prime price from title as all members, including non prime, get free delivery over £20.

Thanks for posting

Released before Endgame came out.
Now they have to get rid of it before releasing the proper complete set.
I got this set during Prime day for just under £30 so this, for a non discount deal, is a great price. The picture quality is astounding, even on the older first Avengers film.
I'll pass

None are proper full 4K

Avengers: Age of Ultron – Fake 4K, HDR
Avengers: Endgame – Fake 4K, HDR
Avengers: Infinity War – Fake 4K, HDR
Avengers: Endgame FAKE 4K HDR

Anyone who has seen Avengers Assemble on Ultra HD Blu Ray will instantly understand that resolution is arguably the least important benefit of the format. With the HDR and WCG it looks utterly sensational. If you skip these films on UHD because of the resolution, you're properly cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I Get where your coming from but they also need to not cash in on labelling them as 4K when they are 2K or upscaled HDR

If you bought a Ferrari and found it had a mini cooper engine under the bonnet you'd be pretty peeved about it and take it back

As there are a lot of these Fake 4K movies out there they should drop the 4K and label as just HDR or UHD HDR

I completely agree - they screwed up. They should've stuck with 'Ultra HD' as the branding and then listed 4K resolution as just one of the potential key benefits, but by sticking 4K on the front they're writing cheques they can't really cash. I mean, there are benefits to the 4K upscaling being done at source frame by frame with uncompressed material over your telly upscaling a 1080P Blu-Ray on the fly, but that's for another (super-nerdy) conversation...

Having said this, though, if you can look past the branding screw-up the Avengers movies look genuinely fantastic on UHD. If I could persuade you to buy just one 'fake 4K' disc it would probably be Avengers Assemble.
