AVENGERS: INFINITY WARS in 4K HDR for £17.99 on Amazon Prime Video

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Looks like Amazon is getting into 4K content in a big way! Avengers in 4K and HDR is available at £17.99, which is a huge discount over the 4K Blu Ray on Amazon. I couldn't find this film in 4K on Apple or Google, so it looks like this is unique to Prime Video.

Great price for a epic superhero film!

Expensive considering no sell on value.
I’d rather pay the extra and have the physical disc.
Better quality and actual resale value.

Yeah, I loved this.
Cannot see HDR mentioned anywhere on the Amazon page ... have you purchased and tried it?

Would rather have a disc to keep at this price
I wonder if this is a sign of possible 4K coming to the Disney titles on iTunes as well.
34879405-h7OyJ.jpgCan't see it myself..
Is it good? Is captain America in it?
Ridiculous price.
Why no 4k on streaming for this?
Amazon streaming is terrible compared to disk 🤮
Great news. Hopefully this will open the floodgates for more 4k content on Amazon. Price needs to come down a little bit. Movies/media on disks is so last century.

I can't see a 4k version on the Amazon.co.uk site? I can only find the £13.99 HD version
A miserable movie!
Shame it’s just 2k upscaled to 4K like all VFX films

For the life of me, I can't understand why this thread is cold- Avengers is the biggest film of the year, at the lowest price available anywhere in the UK on 4K digital or disc (including the 4K Blu Ray on Amazon)!!

What's more impressive is that it is available BEFORE the DVD/ Blu Ray release on September 3rd for only a couple quid more than the 1080p version!

What am I missing?

Lol at 18 for a digital only copy and low bitrate and low quality audio probably, oh and no resale possible after you watched it.

I had the same issue so logged onto Amazon via their website and found it there instead. This was after buying the HD version first but luckily Amazon lets you cancel your order if not watched

Agree though this isn't a good example of their typical pricing. I bought the new Spiderman homecoming movie the day of release in UHD and it was a lot cheaper than this.

No accounting for taste
The movie is pretty good. However, the ending sucks so bad and wouldn't happen in the fantasy nor real world.

Still can’t find it, wonder if it’s an error / area specific
Cold, because it's another Disney movie. Still traumatised from Frozen.
Quite a few other 4K films are available to buy for < £10. I got Spiderman Homecoming for £5 (well £7 less £2 credit I had)
Its about time amazon had some good 4K deals, still not quite as good as the itunes deals around though
OP - please mention this is not 'true' 4k in OM. Streaming will not bring the same visual and audio quality as having a blu ray disc. I know it's something everyone could know by now but sadly not. People will be misled.

The quality of your comments are very akin to Reddit. I am sure many of us have wondered whether you're a rampant troll or just plain stupid, it's a tough call.

I can't comment on the bitrate but I accidentally watched it all last night and thought it was excellent picture and audio quality. Only DD5.1 of course but I'll be able to compare the image once the UHD disc comes out.

I bought and mine was not HDR, tried on TV (Panasonic) Roku & uhd player. It may be HDR on some TVs, but not mine! Amazon did refund me (watched 2 mins so had to do via chat).

£18 for a non-HDR 4k is a waste of money imo.

What you say makes no sense at all! Why would they provide a 4K version to some and not others? It could be that the film's HDR is processed in HDR10 or Dolby Vision and your hardware doesn't support one of them. But it is definitely is a 4K HDR movie and has been verified by several:

I'm pleased it worked for you - what equipment?

It still doesn't take away from the fact Amazon & Google 4k listings are terrible (click on the deal link - does it say HDR?). Finding 4k, then discovering whether it is HDR and if Dolby Vision / HDR10 is a minefield. As a zillion internet threads on Amazon / Roku / Panasonic problems will show you.

It failed for me on Roku & Panasonic as I clearly stated. My TV will do HDR10 but not DV.
How is this not hot?
