Have you got one? How good is the aerial? I know in the past these sorts of things were plagued with poor signal quality.

Does this support DVB-T2?

AFAIK, the HD part is only for European HD Terrestrial TV, we use a different standard.


So you can't use it to watch/record freeview HD. Quite misleading.

So its good for continental Europe?

I have, its got a high gain aerial which works for me! I'm not great with these things but if I can use it then anyone can

Looks like a real high quality product, and super fast delivery too...

delivery is slow but its made in the far east as is the Avermedia i'm pretty sure

Just received mine from Dixons - works very well with Windows 7 Media Centre - just plug it into a spare USB socket and it installs the drivers automatically - I haven't installed anything off the supplied CD. It comes with a portable aerial which works reasonably well - an occasional breakup but not too bad. For best results you will obviously need to connect a proper aerial.
