I've been looking at 4k60 game capture again and this card has come highly-recommended for being able to record in 4k60 HDR (at up to 240Megs per second), 1080p from 30fps up to 240fps, and 1440p from 30fps up to 144fps.

Down from £210 to what seems to be the cheapest price available to date (according to camelcamelcamel anyways).

Note, you'll need a reasonably beefy PC to capture 4k60HDR, and a suitably fast SSD, RAID HD setup, or NVME drive to maintain 60fps of 4K footage in HDR (although the supplied RECmedia software tonemaps the HDR LUT to the SDR footage).

You can, of course, use OBS, XSplit, AmarecTV, or a similar DirectDraw capture tool to both capture and stream 4K60 SDR content (althought I would imagine you'll downscale the output stream to 1080p or 720p).

Video review:

I'm still not quite sure if the Elgato 4k60 Pro Mk.2 is worth the extra £50 or not, so I suggest you watch the following review video to make up your own mind based on your own needs.

Seems like capture card deals are like buses. Scan have the Elgato 4k60 pro mk.2 (which supports 10-bit HDR capture too, and a few more resolutions) down to £171 delivered. I've actually gone for that card as I got it for 12-months 0% interest on my existing PayPal credit account.
