You might want to edit the title from £299
Gilbow is a good make also available from my experience as a tin basher
Wow, that's what adding the word 'aviation' does to a product price, lucky they weren't the 'aviation blockchain special edition'!
I bought these at full price a while ago, I thought that they were excellent value then

bought these why, don't really know, apart from that they were a good edition to "screwfix in association with hukd" tool collection

but good to know they are quality
My son feels that when I recommend "Gilbows" I should have done it as a former aircraft technician rather than a tin basher.
Great for grannies toenails.

Yep got some today was going to post once seen quality so at moment they appear to be good almost bought them 10-11 months ago when think they were £6 but had none in stock so glad missed then so bargain now also like because they are spring loaded compared to my standard tin snips.
Aaaaargh! Stop with these deals! I don't know how many screwfix orders I've made today! Don't even know what most things are used/needed for but buying them as stocking fillers for adult sons
Screwfix do some decent deals, and this looks one of them. Hot from me even though I don't need them

This style of spring loaded cutter tends to be called aviaition snips. The older style tends to be called tin snips. With tin snips it can be a faff to cut as after every stroke you need to use two hands to open them again. These can be much quicker as they spring back open.
