I have seen other day where Quidco was doing cashback for Aviva car insurance. Just spotted TCB doing the same.

Just in case if anyone due to renew their car insurance and missed the Quidco deal.

This offer ends Tomorrow.

If you already have any product with Aviva like home insurance, life insurance then you can get 20% off on the quote. Just call customer service they will apply on your quote.

Always remember :-

Every year compare your House/ Car etc insurance on compare sites (but don't actually switch on there). Then check for decent cashbacks on TCB and Quidco and get more quotes . Only then do your sums ( some providers will add £xx to the quote to pay the £xx cashback ) . Same with gift card and gift voucher giveaways they are often just added to the price .

Cold they want £200 more than my renewal with axa in 4 days time.

Sorry for me, quote i got is way to expensive!

Three years ago Aviva gave me the best price on the market, this year they quoted me almost double the price I got from Churchill. The way they put up prices year on year is scandalous, and ought to be better regulated.

"One year older, no claims... hmmm... that'll be another 15% more Mr Madcow!"

Sad to say, but like with many of life's modern 'conveniences' you end up having to do the legwork every year for the inconvenience of moving your policy. I'd add car and home insurance to the list of products that should be in the public rather than private domain.

I had a similar experience. Last year Aviva (with cash back) were one of the cheapest 5 star providers. The renewal and quotes came in over £220 more than Direct Line so I walked. It is a shame as I liked that they provided full coverage in the EU as standard (as opposed to the minimum cover everyone else provides)

Yep, I tried this offer when it was on for Quidco... was nearly 80 higher than my renewal quote from LV...
Utterly ridiculous...

Last 3 car quotes I tried through tcb the insurance company adds on the cash back or adds more than the cash back on. Try going direct as well see what the quote is.

Conversely, they have been the cheapest for me by far for the last 4yrs, £228 renewal with NCD protection, no one else came close!

Each to there own, it all depends on variables with car insurance at the moment im with Hasting Direct, but Saga is coming out the best for value not necessary on price and i also get cashback of approx £25 with Quidco and TCB,

Not for me on home insurance. Tried this at weekend - went direct first, cleared all cookies and then through TCB and quotes were exactly the same.
Aviva quote was OK, but I think they wouldn't allow me to have different excessess for buildings and contents

Plus do it weeks before yours expires, if you need the insurance fairly soon the gits will charge you more.

I got a quote two weeks ago from Aviva, then found a £65 cash back offer so resubmitted details - only to find the quote had gone up by more than £65.

It seems that the price is always inflated by more than the cash back so you'd be better off getting a direct quote and forgetting TCB/Quidco.

Yes they were very good a couple of years back, the premium wasn't too bad, but the excess way too high - just ran a quote and they want compulsory excess of £500 + £350...

Aviva send renewal price every year, its always more than a new customer quote on their site. For last 3 years i have let my insurance run out for a day, then get the new customer quote AND Topcashback! Never had an issue.
