I found this very useful when restoring my Vulcan, would have been lost without out it!

Product Description
The awesome Avro Vulcan is an enduring image of the Cold War era when the world stood on the brink of nuclear annihilation. For many years the RAF's delta-wing jet bomber was the cornerstone of Britain's nuclear deterrent. Read about the Vulcan's operational history and take a close-up look at its construction. Discover what it takes to own and fly the mighty V-bomber, and find out how engineers keep it airworthy. Centrepiece of the manual is Vulcan XH558 - the world's only flying example of an Avro Vulcan.
About the Author
The expert author partnership comprises Tony Blackman, ex-RAF aircrew officer and Vulcan test pilot, Andrew Edmondson, chief engineer on the restored-to-flight Vulcan XH558, and Alfred Price, acclaimed aviation author and former Vulcan RAF aircrew officer.

Was gonna buy one a few years ago but went for a Triumph Spitfie instead. Anyone know where I can lay my hands on a Spitfire manual?

An awesome looking plane.

It's going to be flying at the RAF Cosford airshow this Sunday. I'll be sat outside my front door watching it.
I love the Vulcan 'howl'.

Cheers Veralum! Drove by Waddington on Saturday and saw one parked at the edge of the airfield. They used to use our local bombing range in the 80's, practiced here before they bombed Stanley airfield...awesome plane!

I found the page on removing/refitting the radio somewhat lacking in necessary detail. I was hoping to upgrade to usb connections.

"TO THE CLOUD"

Just what I need for maxing mine out with 17" alloy rims and a badass bass unit in the bomb bay.

Hot!

Also got to go inside Concorde.

Cool; didn't realise there were any left flying!
There's one down the road from me rusting away in the Newark Air Museum.

Make donations towards the restoration and then saw it at Sunderland Air Show - wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Live long and prosper.

An essential addition to this. You need at least 3 before take off or it just doesn't have the same appeal..

Perfect fathers day gift for my dad who used to fly these =)

Was in Meadowhall (Sheffield) yesterday and saw a Lancaster Bomber Haynes and....one for the USS Enterprise. Brilliant idea and will definately get one, when I next build a Spaceship with Warp requirements.

A little while ago when the Duxford air show was on, I was at the park with my young son (7) and a Vulcan flew low and slow overhead, and I told him all about it, he'd never seen a plane that looked like that before.

Truly, as people have observed, the UK is becoming a footnote in scientific and engineering history.
;-(

I'm voting cold

I should have learnt my lesson with Haynes and the Ford Sierra manual when changing the alternator. But like a fool I got the Vulcan manual, and there is a lack of clarity for the section on refitting the bomb release catches - I had the drop the whole Blue Steel nuke again when I forgot to refit a split pin - the manual was not clear at all. Wasted a whole afternoon, and the stuff was all over the driveway

Pretty crap as there's no where to launch my shuttle from. Should of brought this one instead.

Great plane! there's one down the road from me in Southend Airport, I drive past it every day, it looks good, but not air worthy! and Southend Airports now owned by Eddie Stobart!

Not much call for these nowadays ... might have problems getting insurance ... nightmare if your under 21.

Thought he was dead??

Must had had a plate of chips from Southend Sea Front. Do the airport cleaners now have to wear ties?

It's been this price for ages and there's plenty of sellers at or around this price. Where's the deal?

Dont tell me this is yet another of those 'deals' where the sheep-like members merely vote because they find the offering a bit of fun. LMAO.

....and then pretend they're going to buy it on the pretence its interesting to them. FPMSL.

It already comes with 12 alloys and used to carry a bad ass bass unit alright. When operated it would at least burst everyones eardrums within within 30 miles and frighten the life out of the cats and bunnies for a hundred miles or more. What more could you want!
