This is not a 1000w PSU and its last gen Ryzen, its only worth £150......
And I've seen one with a completely different spec for £100 cheaper
fuzzle325/02/2020 23:11

if we playing comment bingo then how about "buy a console for less lmao"

Someone always takes it too far. A joke is a joke but...console gaming...too far.
Queue all the comments that it's not a 1000w PSU and its last gen Ryzen so only worth £150! 🙈

Build it yourself for way less. Thought I’ll add that one too.

Well this is something else, i was saving £700 for one of the new consoles, but i don't £700 will be enough, so i might just treat myself to this instead, i think it was the ''Enmotus FuzeDrive'' that swayed me.

The problem isn't the hardware, it's the software. You will miss out on exclusives.
this has been on AWD for a while, its decent, for a windows 10 thrown in ive prev posted this deal.., but

cclonline.com/pc/…01/
better psu, better mb, and better graphics card version for same price, near same ram and do windows urself.

or
cclonline.com/pc/…01/

same mb, better psu, better ram, better gpu version, the extra +£20 which is gap between a 240gb ssd n 480Gb ssd between post link n my link.. so overall better psu/ram/graphics for the cost of windows doing urself.

so not a bad machine if u want windows ready. but also another key figure u missed, +10 for the 3600 in the links is also worth considering to give folks knowledge about upfront.

That is a horrible build, don't know how it reached over 150°. Way too overpriced! If you just watch a video on youtube on how to build a PC and source your own parts you can get better GPU like the 5700 /XT, better motherboard, faster RAM and much better case and power supply. I got myself a 2700x, Gigabyte RX 5700 3 fan version, 16 gig 3200mhz Patriot Viper, Cooler Master Masterbox M500, Asus TUF B450 ATX Mobo and a 650w Corsair PSU. Oh and a 240GB SSD + 1TB HDD. All that for £700. Be smart, after all thats your hard earned money...or your parents...
A quick look on part builder and it will probably cost at least £705 to build this pc.
So not terrible, especially with windows 10.
Not something I'd go for though.

I know, it's what I always use but some people are funny about eBay keys.

very true, I have built allot of PC's for people using eBay Windows keys, including my own but some people prefer to pay the £119.99 from Microsoft direct

I agree re specs but this deal is not a bad price for the spec it is plus a Win 10 Home licence. It's not apples-to-apples with hardware-only deals though

Complete agree pal, just pointing it out for interested parties "either way"

Good system for ones wanting windows done..

Ud have to get say £630 part build at ccl time they whack there charge on top. And this beats a 630 build.

OEM is cheaper than Home, a bit anyway. Do you get salvaged licences (uninstalled from previous PC or PC destroyed or scrapped e.g. due to WEEE regs) which I guess are the ones on ebay more like £20?

MS are indeed activating the multi-activation MSDN developer keys (which AFAIK is the main source of super cheap eBay licences) either in 'good faith' or they have been turning a blind eye in order to grow Win 10 userbase. No judgement, just info. For lots of people the low cost is worth the risk or they just don't realise what they are buying.

It will be interesting to see what happens when MS manage to change Windows into a subscription service.
Case £45.27
2700x £148
RTX 2060 £250
MB £60
PSU £42
RAM £65
SSD £23
Windows £3.79

£637.06 to build it yourself unless I am missing something ?

Yes I use OEM keys
Like I said I'm not judging anyone who buys a Win licence key for a fiver or whatever, just know what you're actually getting for your money. The CJEU's rulings apply to legally reselling legitimate software licences (e.g. removing Win Home from a PC and selling the licence on is legal) in the EU, not selling/reselling developer issued keys for evaluation purposes; and we are leaving the EU in 10 months too so next year might be an interesting time in the OS world. OEM keys are supposed to be tied to the motherboard of course (but reportedly this is also circumventable )

I just worked it out about £670.
I over estimated a few part when I said £705.
Don't think I can get it down to £637 though.

You can find them cheaper than a fiver many places, so it really makes it hard to justify paying full price.
It may not work forever but for £3.50 it's not a biggy.
In fact I'm actually ok with the non activated version. Had it on one of my pc's for two years. The watermark doesn't bother me.
So people can actually just download windows or get someone else put it on a usb for them and use it free legitimately.

No way will the new consoles be 700
With the new consoles (PS5/Xbox Series X) I've been debating getting (or building) a PC instead. At the moment, I can't get away from the fact that the cost (around £500) of those new consoles would be the cost of a high end graphics card, and from what the rumours are saying, the new consoles will be great - decisions, decisions!

Its not so much the cost, its, will there be a launch at all this year, with all the closures of plants, component shortage and rising costs. Who knows.

Ah but it came with a built in PS2 which was handy
CCLOnline Ronin PC and other PC's from there is a better alternative to this for similar specs around same price.

They let you choose your motherboard, PSU, GPU etc too which you can't choose here

why would anybody buy a gaming system, when you can subscribe to these gaming cloud services like Geforce Now for £5 a month, and play your game at highest spechs on a crappy laptop, major requirement you have a decent internet connection?
