Nice Deal Rated Hot
If you change the motherboard to one of the b450 options and the ram to Corsair Vengeance, yeah, that should work well.

comes in at £613.11

same system (with the above recommended additions) is £564.98 on the website, so a good saving.

also factor in this has no operating system, no keyboard, mouse or monitor, no wifi connectivity, no additional storage on top of the 240gb ssd, you will need more, alot more, but that is addable for an additional fee.

^ the above with double size SSD, Better psu, 3200mhz ram... 1600 is same as 2600... no loss there.

... the motherboard won't make a difference to the performance and neither will changing brand of RAM. At most you'll get a SLIGHTLY better RAM performance, almost not noticeable to anybody

An A320 board offers no overclocking or future proofing, light on features and imo the motherboard is not where you want to scrimp on. Just paying the small additional charge for a b450 is a no brainier. The same with ram.Ryzen likes faster ram and 3000mhz is cheap and again imo should be considered the minimum. Get 1 8GB, toss in another matching 8GB when you can.

I'll chop in.. I built basically an Alienware spec PC around 10 years ago minus the graphics card while I waited for a price drop. All in it cost me under £400 after I noticed you need at least a bronze power supply for a decent spec machine (oops) and other than the fact mine was and still is cooled by six fans and the £2300 Alienware was water cooled, mines had more RAM and never overheated even after a little overclocking.

However.. this isn't THAT much more expensive and saves you the effort of doing a build. But where's the fun in that?

Don't know who you are, but big love. Take your time. Hope you are bearing up.
I’m looking to run planet coaster (laptop is failing big time). Would this be an option?

Yes and pretty much everything else.

Thanks

You’re welcome. If you’re curious, search “RX 580” and the game your wanting to play on YouTube and it will show you the FPS for it. Lots of builds use the 2600 as a processor as well.
RX 580 is still very capable at 1080p
