450w is fine for a single GPU build...long as it's a decent psu
Easily enough for this system. Can't remember the last time I used a psu over 500w for a build
depends what your budget is?
is the mini gpu less powerful ? thanks
Nope, same thing just a smaller cooler than some of the other models. It's not a GPU that runs hot though so it'll be fine.
I don't need a dedicated GPU just really good CPU and lots of RAM.
It seems most PC related posts here are either "gaming" PC's or mid-low range office PC's... And when I look for PC's with a high end i7 they are overpriced or bundled with a GPU I don't need.
Thanks.

Tell him to get a paper-run & earn his own crust !!
Yes: i5 6400 benchmark vs your i7 860
(of course certain scenarios may not be so clear cut but thats a baseline benchmark.
uses significantly less power too if thats something that interests you.
It is according to nvidea. The 970 was the lower limit for VR. The 1060 6gb matches that easily.

Or better still tell him to focus his energies on a more worthwhile task like learning another language or how to code rather then aspiring to be just yet another moronic teenage internet celebrity.
Or tell him to grow up commenting their own foolish opinions on a current age demographic within a discount alert website.
Oh wait.
you can download windows 10 for nothing and use it without a product key.
The free upgrade period has ended.
Yo you really don't need much for a 13yr old who wants to do PC gaming. Consider a cheap gaming laptop, and Alienware alpha( wait for when they have a build on) or a ready made second hand PC, look for something like a gtx 660/ 750/750ti which will be plenty, can be picked up with the rest of the build for like 200
They really are. The only one I have found I like is the evga hadron.

Yes, there is a caveat for accessibility users - I'm not sure what percentage of the country that would genuinely apply to, I'm thinking a very very small number.
Yea then all those worthwhile activities will help shape him into a more social friendly human like you... Back in your box!
That one didn't even begin to make sense.
I'm not talking about the free upgrade. you can still download windows ten for nothing and use it with no product key. they do not lock it anymore like previous version. you just can t change the background on it through the settings
people benefit from having a little fun. if you want to oppress children then I think you're going to have a very hard time making many friends. A gaming pc has been proven to improve social and cognitive skills. Obviously there would be a point of abuse that would be then detrimental, but then I'd rather that than ruin a childhood and potential make then struggle socially in life when a they have done is learn a language that no one wants to speak to them in.
the one you are looking at with 1080 would be great for years. this one posted will do 4k for current games. you might have to tone the settings down when some more power hungry games come out. but for now it is more than enough
