yeah its a really nice coffee - I thought it was a misprice in store then noticed it online too

I saw this in Asda yesterday, can someone please tell me if it is instant coffee or ground coffee? I was in a rush and didn't have time to have a good look - thanks

Barista style INSTANT coffee

55 cups of coffee for less than the cost of one Starbucks, what's not to like? HOT.

This to me is a weak, wishy washy coffee and therefore VERY overpriced IMO, even at £2/100g.
I did notice they have the Intenso variety for the same price though, and considered giving it another go - until I spotted the Millicano right next to it which was also £2. No prizes for guessing which one I bought...

yes it does taste a lot like those cheap powdered instant coffees that used to be popular decades ago. If you want to buy expensive instant coffee, I'd go for millicano instead.

Nice coffee if you use it to make latte, otherwise I didnt like the taste too much at all.

Also, if you have a look here Instant Coffee, Which? Best Buy test then this came out on top based on a panel of experts review. It scored 88%, well above other premium instants like Starbucks VIA and Millicano.

Yeah, I don't really get it with this Azera stuff - it rather reminds me of 'Mellow Birds' - powdered weak coffee that gives an odd foam on the top, certainly not crema. Clever marketing methinks?

Cheapest and best coffee at home? Cup filter (c.£3ish), bag of ground coffee, one spoon in the cup filter, pour water over - hey presto very fresh coffee and nice and cheap and easy to make too.

Having said that, if you like this stuff - hot deal

all down to personal preference I like this stuff - tried millicano but gave me heartburn - which I have never had this in my life - but each time i drank millicano the same thing happened - never thought about using it to make a latte will have to give this a go

Heat, any brand name coffee at a cheap price is worth picking up for me.

'Experts', dear me. The only 'expert' opinion that matters is your own. For me, this tastes rank, like the worst budget instant coffee from yonks ago with the same acrid aftertaste. The Intenso variant has a slightly different package but exactly the same tut inside. You might actually like it, whatever I or any other self-styled expert may say.

I saw this, plus the Millicano and Carte Noir's version too, all for £2 in Asda yesterday. They were all on an end of aisle display with each brand on their own shelf.
I've had Millicano before, but not that impressed personally.
I like the normal Douse Egberts myself personally.

Millicano is nothing short of glorified ****. But if that's what you prefer, then more power to you.

Azera Intenso is miles better.

Got a link to the cup filter you mean? I know someone who just uses filter coffee into the cup without a filter and leaves the bits left in the bottom, if there's an easy filter you can use I would have a go with that myself

If you hie yourself to a B&M store, you can dig up Douwe Egbert's take on these barista style instants. Comes in an orange pungent and a purple drain cleaner variety. £1.29 buys you 85g and £1.99 170g, so it is the cheapest around if you want to pretend to be posh on a budget without dragging out the percolator.

Bodum travel mug 16 ounce size, Tea infuser from. ..Nothing but tea. ...On amazon, Bobs your uncle and you'll save hundreds on coffee. But wash it out religiously.

Can I just echo what Spraint has said. Cafe Essense from B n M bargains is better value and tastes even better. The orange one is a bit more mellow while the purple one is nice n strong. It recommends 2 scoops and I did it first for an expresso kind of hit but one heap is enough really.

Try them you won't be disappointed and you can thank me later!

Exactly how I felt about it when someone bought to keep in for me. Using twice the recommended amount makes quite a nice cup but pretty pricey.

Try Nescafe Blend 37 at £14.99 for 500gr at Amazon delivered, It Is the best Instant Coffee on the market I get through one of these tins a month as I'm a Coffee Nut and if you doubt my word read the reviews on Amazon.

Totally hot! Its £2.49 at Morrisons, but I don't have a nearby Asda sadly. What is with the its not as good as this or that trolling waste of energy posting. The post is about Azera. Thats it. If you like something else, great. Set up a post telling us about a great offer you have seen for THAT instead of skidmarking this deal.

I have one tsp millicano and one tsp azera intenso, black...lovely creamy and strong.

For me probably the nicest instant around, I'm not as passive aggressive as others when it comes to coffee but how can someone say this is like cheap instants? Closest I've tasted to ground coffee, but I'll try that dowe ebgerts mentioned previously, looks interesting
