b grade means it has been returned so faulty more than likely and … b grade means it has been returned so faulty more than likely and overclockers to no worse combo cold cold cold. With a name like it-techs i would at least think you know the difference between a bargin card and a pile of scrap if i were you would change it no nothing it-tech.

But if it did come with this

The web site it comes with 10 year warranty but you might want to double check on that.

and was cheaper than everywhere else (have not looked) then surely it is a good deal as in 5 years time if that it will probbably be out of date anyway :-D

this is the old design, selling off old stock, and its returns. Not worth it as overclockers is known to be bad with its customer service, expect DOA cards.

Voted cold.

Yes this is the old design and yes it is B Grade.

I am not an expert on cards. But since its EVGA 8800GTS and comes with 10 year warranty then it could be good.

I was looking for a card but I didn’t buy this one, but with all good intentions I thought what if this can be a good catch for someone?

Rather than keeping quiet. I took initiative and spend some of my time, registered this account and made the post in a hurry. I had lots of great deals from this site and thought it's time to try and give something back.

You can make a formal complain about my name if you like. There are so many other things to know in computers than video cards.

The ATi HD 3870 cards brand new can be bought for a few pounds more and they do out perform the old 8800 cards, I have bought a used card before and it became faulty short after a 30day warranty period and sending cards to Taiwan or America for a warranty repair certainly isnt cheap, spend an extra £10 and buy brand new!

I've bought from Overclockers in the past and had no problems, so I think its quite a good deal and have voted accordingly.

I also think polly69's post is unnecessarily rude and insulting to a new member and she ought to have rep removed for behaviour like that. Its just a shame she didn't find a better use for her time, such as learning how to spell 'bargain' correctly before posting on a bargains forum.:whistling:

Thanks for posting it-techs, (if you haven't already left the forum in disgust).

I am sure that is a mistake by OCUK as this card was more like £199 originally

never had any problems with OCUK and just because something was returned doesnt mean its faulty could be many genuine reasons why

thanks for the kind words.

I really don't mind cold votes as long as there is a constuctive discussion about it.

It's out of stock now so i hope one or two people got it through this post
