When I was paying for the item it told me that discount codes couldn't be applied as it was B grade stock but I used the code AWINDIS12 for £7 off and it worked nonetheless. I haven't stuck that bit in the title for the deal just in case it doesn't work for everyone but I guess a mod can amend it if it does. Some proof too that it worked for me i.imgur.com/u5u…png

Delivery speed wasn't too bad either. I ordered it on Thursday night and it was here today.

ordered same a few weeks ago for my folks - for me the discount code would not apply although gained it by first trying to buy the none returned version (£149) from a store with the code to find none in stock so had little choice but to go for the graded version where the discount code stayed in place, not going to complain and was quick delivery

few little things like memory module heatsink not attached on one (clicked back on with no great issue)

Additionally the memory modules are over spec'd for the cpu which allows for an easy future upgrade (i5 when they drop in price) - all in all good price

That's what happened with me to get the code to work but trying it again now it appears not to. Still at this price it's still a good deal.

The RAM does have those stupidly tall heatsinks on it but because this bundle is just using the stock cooler it doesn't interfere in any way.

Wow. great deal. I'll hit it.

Just got mine delivered today its all pre-assembled and ready to go. Got just over £4 via Quidco. Wanted to go for an i5 setup but all this for around £125 was just too cheap not to buy. Codes wouldn't work for me at all despite multiple attempts

As long as you're not fussed about overclocking or have loads of extra PCI cards to install then I think it's a good budget choice.

I checked this on eBuyer and Aria and they both came out at £190 approx for this setup.

Hmm might buy it and sell the cpu for an i5.

Is it worth me changing my old E7600 with 4GB RAM for this?

Depends on what you're looking to do with the PC.

Isnt this one better value and its not a refurbish either. maplin.co.uk/qua…056

Main reason for the upgrade would be a bit of gaming (nothing cutting edge obviously).

Running the E7600 with a GTX 560.

Finally got mine up and running today. Bar whatever tit put it together (CPU fan wasn't connected to the mobo header properly) seems to be a solid bit of kit for the price.

Got mine and installed it today.

The power cable for the fan was on too tight stopping the fan from spinning and the heatsinks were hanging off the memory.

Nothing that 2 minutes of fiddling couldn't fix though (_;)

Now up and running & I'm very happy with the deal.

Had that same issue myself with the CPU fan, an odd one that.
