Any ideas how to get the filter off a lens when you can't grip it by hand or if two filters are stuck together?

I've done it before by putting a rubber band round the filter I want to remove. Also, I think you need to try and avoid gripping (squeezing) the filter too hard.

They’re actually pointless.
Covering expensive glass with cheap glass defeats the point. Plus if you have a scratch on your front lens element it often doesn’t show up in photos.

Excellent price. Many fakes of this brand around so good to get one from amazon direct for a good price. Absolutely not pointless if you have spent thousands of pounds on a lens!
