Sounds like a good deal to me I believe BA fly directly to Saint Kitts this price is for a week in May. I love the Caribbean and I’m assuming the weather is going to be pretty good there in May

Correction 1 stop in Antigua however I can’t work out if you have to change planes or if you just stay on the same plane
Same plane - touches down for a short stop...

Not really, some people get off, some people get on and they usually refuel too. Its quite quick though, about an hour turnaround.
But much better than having to transfer walk in the park compared to transferring at JFK Which is what I did last year when I went to Saint Martin’s what a nightmare however Saint Martin’s was lovely
St Kitts is pretty boring and not the best beaches .
Visited 4 times on cruises , 8am till 7pm .
Cockel shell bay/beach was awful .
The st kitts railway was ok .
But definitely wouldn't be an island I would choose .
Barbados, Tortola and Antigua are my 3 favourites.

Correction: a flight with a touchdown is still classed as direct.

Maybe you are confusing 'direct' with 'non-stop'

Flown Amsterdam to Jakarta via Kuala Lumpur many, many times with KLM. Can confirm it might as well be direct, literally a 45 minute stop, boot off all the Malaysians and backpackers and away it goes.

But if you are going to stay on St Kitts Timothy Beach is a really good choice if you want it simple. There's a load of beach huts there serving great local food and it seems to be the 'go to' place for the locals at weekends. They did [maybe still do] a good happy hour at the Dock bar. It gets well supported by 'expats' and escapees from the Marriott the other side of the peninsula. If you're thinking of getting about and seeing the Island be prepared to be directed away from the really cheap buses onto the not cheap at all taxis. Car hire isn't cheap either and you are obliged to buy a local driving licence.

Stayed at Timothy Beach last year, great place to stay, the basic 2 bed wasn't great so we upgraded to a suite for about £250 for 14 nights and that was well worth it. St Kitts is dead in May and whilst the people are lovely it's quite dull, the main drag in front of the hotel is really quiet and that's the main party strip On the plus side all of the tour operators are grasping for business, we met Captain Sunshine in a cafe (he was eating with his family at the next table) and ended up getting a full day private island tour for 2 of us for 10% less than the cruise groups paid (per person).
How much for a single person?
