I've just bought a range of ellas kitchen pouches £36 for over 60 pouches! Very happy! Thanks

Same price as supermarkets on the Hipp Organic, and your stuck with only a couple of flavours. Not great for me

also 10 for £5.50 at Tesco (although it's not as good a deal.)

Not much choice, plus stocked up in Ella's during the Aldi baby event. Shame - if they had some decent flavours, would have been in!

Exactly!

Nice find. My daughter loves these. There are bigger packs, 24's or 30's of the Ella Kitchen One smoothies. They work out at the same price per pouch, 55p for 30 pack or 52p per pouch for the 24 pack of Yellow ones.

30 Pack purple one
30 Pack Red One
30 Pack Green one
24 Pack Yellow One

Good price but decided to make my own with a few ice cube trays and some natural ingredients baby loves them and costs me next to nothing

Remember there is no need for babies to have smooth/pureed food. Just normal family meals, fork mashed if you want.

Even at these prices it is very expensive for just fruit!

We use them for convenience sake and when we are disorganized. When out on trips or in the car, just have a few stashed in the car or bag, they survive more abuse and last longer than a piece of fruit rolling around in the door pocket or bag for a week or two

Nothing beats gnawing on a whole piece of fruit though

What is the shelf life like for these?

The Green One we have indoors has a date of Oct 2014 (Just got the wife to Check )

I got some of these in a Tesco sale (think it was 39p). They're not bad...and it's nice knowing I was eating organic

Good price, especially for the jars. However last time I was in Asda they were doing 12 for £6 on the 10 month jars which is a better offer than any of the other supermarkets. This works out the same price...but I think i'll stick to Asda so my LO has a bit more variety.
This is a great spot OP...I may get some of the Ellas Kitchen Smoothies though. My little man loves them! :-)

Some people don't have the time to make your own. Also we did a little challenge to make one of them - can't remember which it was (one of the mango ones maybe) and by the time we made made it ourselves the raw products had cost us more than the packet (at full price let alone discounted)

This made it a no brainer for us on some pouches

ignorant comment - it's not always convenient or possible to make your own.
we're off to Florida (via Toronto!) at the and of the month... I'd much rather take a bunch of Ella's Kitchen pouches on a 15 hour journey and know that my son has something available to eat than give him homemade food that's been unchilled for that length of time, give him aeroplane food or to have to hunt through the fast food outlets at airports to find something suitable for a 7 month old to eat!
plus they're handy when out and about instead of worrying about salt content in foods that aren't designed for babies to be eating.

Always get the one!

You still need something in standby for those times your planning goes **** up. My LO is largely a BLW boy (his fave is sirloin!), but has pouches (or something from the home made freezer stash) while we're out and about, or if mummy and daddy have a cheeky take away!

Just in case its handy to anyone, I ordered the ones I posted about in my comment above (Ellas One packs) and all the dates are Dec 2014
